Group-D - WC 2014
Uruguay will meet Colombia in 1/8 round (very likely). So according to law or conspiracy, Suarez will get banned.

And it is not like WC 2010, his ban now is pointless. He even hurt his front teeth after the act.

I don't follow. Of course his ban would be meaningful, unless you were talk from the perspective of an Italian fan? also, what do you mean by 'not like WC2010'?

I meant in WC2010, he actually helped his team to get past Ghana, but his act now is complete useless for Uruguay, though both were instinctive.

That was from Suarez's view. And by football view, his ban in Liverpool time is not enough.

Thanks for your clarification. That does make sense. Smile

It's really hard to make things out on both Suarez' incident and Marchisio being sent-off. Like Xudong said the tackle didn't seem malicious but the referee was at the opposite line of sight from us. From that angle what looked like a slight contact with the inner shin/calf to us might appear like a full contact, studs-up tackle.

The same can be said about the scuffle between Suarez and Chiellini scuffle. From our angle the elbow was blatant but not what had happened before that. If that's a bite then Suarez deserves to receive a lengthy ban.

Please tell me this is not his official account. :d

This Suarez incident shows why FIFA should have introduced the additional 2 assistant referees rather than spend money on the goal-line technology, even though it is pretty good..
amazed how non of the lines-men saw it though, because obviously it was one of them who raised the flag for a foul Smile

Italy more or less have their-selves to blame, but at the same time can feel harshly done in this one match.

time for a new project in Italy, starting with the FIGC

The Balotelli yellow was ridiculous..the Uruguayan player didn't even make an attempt to jump for the ball. The Marchisio red was even more preposterous. It was a yellow card at best for the high boot. Then of course no official saw Suarez' bite...

I agree Mystik

Prandelli and Abete just resigned.

I actually like Prandelli as Italy coach and hoped that he would continue as coach at least until the Euros. Who will take over now..Allegri?
