Uruguay vs Costa Rica England vs Italy 19 June 2014 Uruguay vs England Italy vs Costa Rica 24 June 2014 Italy vs Uruguay Costa Rica vs England RE: Group-D - WC 2014 - xudong - 04-21-2014 I used to be a huge fan of Azzuri, for probably 20 year. That prick Pirlo ruined it for me. ![]() I don't think I hate them though, so I will pick Uruguay and Italy. Anything to keep England out. RE: Group-D - WC 2014 - Best-Pundit - 04-24-2014 reza you seriousley think England gonna finish ahead of Uruguay in South America against the Coppa America Champions??
RE: Group-D - WC 2014 - reza - 04-24-2014 Suarez and Cavani better be amazing otherwise Uruguay have little chance. RE: Group-D - WC 2014 - Aficio - 04-25-2014 Any team but England. What a joy in cursing them
RE: Group-D - WC 2014 - xudong - 04-25-2014 I don't hate England. I just feel sorry for them. Just like Inter Milan. Oh wait, I both hate and feel sorry for Inter Milan. :d The only few English players I like are Alan Shearer and Gary Lineker. The only tournament that I actually didn't mind England was EURO1996, when they were the host and actually played some nice games. RE: Group-D - WC 2014 - ZvonimirBoban - 04-26-2014 I supported England in Euro'96 (first international tournament I watched, also I think that was the first time I watched football). Actually England, Italy, and Uruguay are three of national teams I always have soft spots for... so predicting this group is so hard for me. But England and Italy will survive, I think. He was immense in world cup 2010 and (sadly) Coppa America 2011 he might do a Cannavaro 2006 this time with the likes of Suarez and Cavani providing the immunation.BTW, any chance of Diego Forlan to be picked in the WC squad? I am sure he could be a useful sub event at the age of 35 or whatever ![]() (04-25-2014, 05:39 AM)Aficio Wrote: Any team but England. The guy was a machine gun and I liked him too ![]() But Lineker? Its more to do with your hate for Argentina and Maradona, than love for Lineker
RE: Group-D - WC 2014 - Best-Pundit - 05-07-2014 What formation Italy will play by the way? 3-5-2 work fine in Euro 2012. I would like to see atleast one big name team playing differently than others, like 3 men defence with wing backs. by the way, apart from Germany and Spain, on paper I can't recall a better group of midfielders than Italy. Pirlo, De Rossi, Monto, Marchisio in a really difficult midfield to beat, unless Pirlo decides to sleep. |
