Did anyone follow the Playstation Experience event held about a week ago by Sony? It had some pretty big announcements, including gameplay of Uncharted 4 (which just looks incredible!) and an announcement of Street Fighter 5 being PS4 and PC exclusive. There was a ton of new games and announcements in general, though really it's too much to go through in detail.

Got myself a PS4 yesterday in a pretty decent bundle. It was a PS4, extra controller, Playstation TV, GTA V, Driveclub, COD: Advanced Warfare and Last of Us Remastered. I've also been getting every game from PSPlus every month, so have a catalogue of probably over 20 games already.
I'm pretty impressed by the console, it is very much a continuation of last gen (in terms of services), but feels much more polished. Playstation Store actually works compared to the clumsy mess of what was on PS3.
On games, I've been impressed with what I've seen of GTA V. I'm not a COD player, so am going through the campaign and will probably leave it after that. Driveclub was a solid racer (have yet to try online which is where the problems are), while LOF is one of my favourite games ever, so will play that at some point. Resogun was really cool too, just pure arcade gameplay.
What's really impressed me is PSTV, which is a microconsole that has all PS services, plays Vita games (I WILL get Persona 4) and can stream the PS4 on any tv. I tried it yesterday and was impressed at how well it worked as I streamed the PS4 wirelessly in my bedroom. I played COD, an FPS that requires quick reactions and the stream was almost perfect. Bear in mind I was only playing the campaign, but still it was pretty much ideal, especially for a family man like myself.

Beautiful! Still want to see how they'll incorporate magic and all that but you can always count of Square to make a gorgeous game.
Meanwhile I saw the Street Fighter V announcement and the demo match at Capcom Cup. The match itself didn't reveal too much about the new features. The stages seem destructible in some ways.. And the Super meter has changed but it wasn't immediately clear how. For fans of the focus attack.. I didn't see any of that

I loved the music in the trailer (they've all been excellent), which is really important for me as the FF music has always been iconic in the series. It's great to finally see a city and town environment too, something I really hope will be done well after XIII's lack of populated areas. Other things that stood out was the seamless transition to battle, the voice acting seemed solid, which is good as the only FF game I liked the voice acting in was XII. Then there's the titan at the end, which just looked spectacular.
Street Fighter V looks like it might take elements from SF3 from what I've heard. SF3 was considered very underrated, with good gameplay, but lacking the marquee names from the series.

I also like the seamless transition to battle but I hope it won't be a game where I just mindlessly bash X until the opponent dies. I want to see more information about the battle system as that's one of the most important features for me.
