I also watch some of your band's performances on YouTube, Axe. Man, you guys are lucky to still have some club willing to stage a gig like that. The sight of guys doing some headbanging brings me so many fond memories when I was still in college more than ten years ago. Back then there was this late night gig every month or two in some warehouse-turned-club.
Mostly the bands were playing their own materials, ranging from death metal to punk rock; some of them were really good, others offered nothing but pure noise that was deafening even to my standard. But every now and then we also had this tribute night to honor legendary bands like Aerosmith and Guns N’ Roses, sometimes inviting members from established bands who had issued their own albums.
Those were my formative days, music wise. The place smelled musty and sweaty, the sound was awful, too many feedbacks; but we didn't give a damn. We were playing or listening to the music that we love, and God did we have a good time! And I wouldn’t trade those nights for the world.

Well, we always try to convince club's managers/owners to play. Most of the time they refuse, or accept if we don't get any money from them, but that's really not important. We only want to play some music, have a few drinks and that's all. They don't allow moshpits in their club (they are right, it's business for them after all, they don't want their place destroyed). Fortunately there is a Heavy Metal bar here, though it's small (capacity of 50-60 tops). We can do everything there, from banging the head to moshpits (bone-breaking moshpits might I add
). The club shown in the video is like Hard Rock Caffe, called Tirana Rock Caffe, only smaller of course and it's great to play there. It may contain up to about 200 people, so it's relatively big. We did a Metallica tribute for their 30-th birthday, it was truly amazing.
Hopefully we'll record other songs, as we are in the writting process yet. And also I hope to find the time to write now that I began college.

Yeah, the club that I mentioned above was also small, roughly half the size of a basketball court, but that's exactly the perfect size, right? I mean you could feel the interaction between the band and the crowd more in that place than in the bigger club or open field where the stage was elevated two meters above the floor where the band was so disconnected from the crowd they were like an island to themselves. Sadly, I don't think there's any living-after-midnight-rocking-to-the-dawn underground gig here anymore. At least not that I know about. Surely there's always a gig every couple of months or so, again in a place that is more suitable for rodents instead of rockers. But due to security reason, the show always starts on 4 in the afternoon and the place must be cleared before 10 PM.
You mentioned about the moshpits and I too can understand the concern of the club owners. Somehow, you just can't separate rock/metal music from drugs, booze and the violence that follows. About three years ago ten people died when Beside, a major metal band in my country, held a concert in their hometown. And all of sudden, every finger was pointed to metalhead and the music itself. Ever since that tragedy it's getting more and more difficult to obtain permit for metal gig here.

Yeah, I guess you're right. Sometimes when I'm playing I have to protect my guitar and all the stuff, since the stage there is only about 20cm from the ground. But it's a lot more fun that way, the chemistry between the band and the crowd is a lot higher, there's a lot of energy there.
Here there are some laws about the noise. Live music must be shut down before 11 PM during the week, and 12 PM during the weekend. But clubs hardly obey that rule, and play house, techno, pop etc until dawn. When it comes to hard rock/heavy metal, they're pretty strict about that. (money talks here, but anyway)
Wow, that's a pretty major loss. But these things happen though. It is not metal's fault. I was at the Sonisphere Festival this year in Greece. Some death metal bands played there, including here Rotting Christ, Gojira and some other bands (apart from Iron Maiden, Slipknot, Mastodon, Moonspell etc) and walls of death were happening everywhere. Still nobody got hurt as far as I know. When someone was on the ground they always helped each-other and then still going insane afterwards. Also pretty much every metalhead here that I know, is not a drug-addict or violent. There are a lot more people into drugs that don't have any connection with metal whatsoever, but still people don't really understand, metal gets all the blame (it has always been like this). I don't really give a crap about general opinion though, for me it was, is and always will be a huge amount of bull***t.
Back in the early 90's when I was still a little kid there was a huge metal scene here, but somehow disappeared completely in the 00's. Some great bands were playing like Thunderway and Centaur. Pity they don't play anymore, they would have been huge in my opinion.

Something like: A new or existing member who posts most (not spam or one liners) over a certain period wins something.
Not really sure at this point and obviously the prize has to be good enough to work, so it's not really easy. If anybody has any ideas would be nice to share it too.
