I live in the US, so morally I have to support them. but with Germany and Portugal in the same group, they have zero chance, unfortunately.

If my memory is correct, Germany, Ghana and USA have been played against each other quite often in recent WCs.

This could be a "friendly" group Big Grin

of course, that's because I didn't vote for USA. voting =/= supporting. voting is about who you think will win. supporting is about who you want to see winning. :d

USA shocked Portugal 3-2 in the group stages of 2002 world and the commentator during the 1st half after USA made it 3-0 went just crazy ...... Hahahaha ...
It was one of the most enjoyable commentries I have ever heard. So USA, please do it again to Portugal, specially to piss off Cristiana Big Grin

Anyone thinks that the Bayern Munich disaster would affect the German players and they would somehow wouldn't cope with the pressure of group of death?

Group G is Group Germany.

The German are the sage of the game, and they do have strong squad. They can only lose to exceptional teams like recent Spanish NTs and a crazy Balotelli Italian NT.

If Argentina win their group (very likely), true test for Jogi will be semifinal.
