Curva Sud activities

Be it stupid or highly necessary, this thread will be for Curva Sud activities. While they are not always as bright as we wish they were (Maldinigate for instance), they are the voice of the fans.

The opening of this topic is highly correlated to the events that are currently in play, with the curva sud (finally...) targeting the man responsible for 56 million euros (exc. wages) in wasted cash. The man who has been gambling with our money, for which we paid the ultimate price (humiliation in CL and 10th in league).

I as a fan would like to protest against other fans making stupid protests.

I'm not with the curva for a few reasons. The first is that I've always generally been against the idea of ultras in football and these guys have a history of stupid acts. While they're the loudest of Milan fans, I certainly have no interest in them representing Milan fans across the world.

The other is their protest, whereby they say they wanted to keep Ambro and Pirlo, decisions that may not have resulted well for us and more importantly were dealt with terribly, but ultimately weren't the wrong decisions.

I'm not totally against what they're saying, I agree Galliani's mismanagement has lead us here, but personally I have no interest in supporting them.

Edit: All that said I'm with millinarios, as ultimately for all their protests I don't think we'll see anything happen.

They have every right to protest. These people go to every single game, (home and away) waste their money to travel and support the team. A lot of them are season ticket holders for years and have Milan in their heart. As long as is non-violent I have no problem with it and I support it because I agree with their points. If I didn't, then I wouldn't support them although they still would have the right to do it.

We are all protesting in a way. Some of us on these forums because that's the closest to Milan we can get.....and others out on the streets. We should not stand and watch as management are destroying the team and certain players make millions yet look like they couldn't care less about the jersey on the field. They should know what the fans think and that we won't stand by and watch this circus.

Dev, you are probably right that nothing will happen and B and G wouldn't even budge from this. After all the shit Berlu has faced, there is no way a protest like this will have any effect on him. However, at least him and his bold friend will know what the fans think. We are slowly losing our fan-base and our attendance in the stadium is suffering with it dropping year after year. On top of that Milan as a brand has less and less appeal to broadcasters, young players, and fans in general. Now I know that people always come back when the team starts winning as that's just the way it is. (just look at how many fans City and Chelsea have gained in just a couple years) So maybe, just maybe Berlu will make sure that the team starts winning again.
