Not too crazy about this format. So many games to weed out the field from 48 to 32. I guess 1 positive thing will be that with 3rd placed teams going through, there is likely to been a lot less "meaningless" 3rd round games since a lot of teams will still have the opportunity to get through. Opposite of that, I think the 1st knockout round will have a lot off lopsided matchups and basically just a formality in some cases.

What's happening in Faroe Islands?

I saw the score earlier and thought that's a something is wrong with the website. Then I looked at the standings and see they are right up there, so this win wasn't just a fluke. This group seems veey weak though. Gibraltar is not really a team, tbh.   Montenegro has really fallen off in recent years after flirting with qualification to the Euros the last couple cycles. But i'm really surprised at the Czechs as they are always solid and a tough nut to crack. Still, Czechia plays Gibraltar in the last game so they are 99.99999% sure to be in the playoff spot ahead of the Faroe Islands. Either way, it's good when smaller countries close the gap. Nice to see
