He’s looking good so far! A goal and an assist and not even a full game played. He’s a real striker, someone looking for goals. We needed that! Hope he can hurt his old team on Wednesday

Certainly very promising start. Let's hope that he will continue to grow and beat our expectations.

It's nice to know that Allegri's kept him from the swap with Dovbyk.
Tare has his reason as Dovbyk is more "Giroud", but the Ukrainian is still far from Giroud level, and maybe our coach believes in Santi's potential.

The way Tare handled it was terrible. I hope that Gimenez will raise his game and also be a bigger person (the first part is certainly more important--if you suck, nobody probably cares about what you think).

Quoting myself. How naive was I.

He did set a Serie A record after all.

Quote:SANTIAGO GIMENEZ is the FIRST striker in SERIE A HISTORY to finish a season with 0 GOALS in 10+ games played as a starter.

Gimenez was injured during Mexico's WC match vs England and will be out for 2 months.

This probably means he'll be difficult to sell and he will also miss the whole of pre-season preparations, which effectively will probably ruin yet another season for him at Milan.
