It is weird, but there are not many RB better than him, and the better ones are better because of younger age.
It is weird, that we have signed a lot of RBs or RB capable since last season. Hope that it ends now.

To be honest, I don't know how to feel about this transfer. On a personal level, he is not a saint; on a professional level, I don't know if he still has it in him. I don't want another Bonucci or Essien or Emerson (the Brazilian midfielder, not the current RB), and don't dare to dream that he would be a Cafu either. He is meant as a short-term fix, and hopefully he can live up to that expectation/hope. If that happens, I will be happy enough.

He will do well, he an upgrade on Emerson/Calabria for sure. And even if he does disappoint we can send him back this summer not taking the option to buy.

He will bring character and leadership also, things we lack bigtime!

This has little to do with specific players like Walker for example but ... we are happy to sign players with little risk, we are at a level of accepting loans cause of that. Milan is not what it was, is it?

If you ask me, building a team from youth up is not that hard. It may not guarantee trophies but it is definitely more exciting than loans and cheap buys. Just my opinion.

Our new guys seem to have only two projectories:
1. Started well, then sucked (Gimenez, Walker, Fofona, Felix, Conceicao)
2. Started poorly, and continued to suck (Emerson Royal)

I was most surprised with Walker, and thought he had enough in his power to help turn things around or at least hold his own.
