Rossi is injured, which could perhaps help keep the price down. Instead of loaning him for 1M, we could perhaps pay just 500K. Just to be clear, I made all those numbers up.
That does not appear to be such a wise move, but what do I know?
To replace Allegri with Guadiola is unfair to Allegri, IMO. Also, I would be very curious what Guadiola can do with such a limited team. Of course, there are several possibilities:
1) When Guadiola becomes the coach, Berlusconi would once again open up his wallet and "build" a strong team;
2) Guadiola will become Inter's coach;
3) Guadiola is looking for a house in Milano so that he could flip it for profit.
4) Guadiola is not even looking for a house in Milano; he is looking for a horse; the reporters heard it wrong or made it up.
