Actually Fiorentina and Roma are having a very busy campaign in and out but it looks like both are doing well and should be interesting to watch next year...and if Roma manages to convince Galliani to exchange Borriello with Cassano then that would be a great piece of business .....for them
Yeah what I meant was that we are no longer an elite club in the Serie A. We have a squad that's slightly above average in quality, but nowhere good enough to challenge for titles, and we're operating on a very tight budget with no chance of signing the players we need to make that final leap in quality. In addition, our best players all want to leave because they see the club as lacking in ambition and don't want waste their time on a project that's going nowhere when they can fight for trophies elsewhere. So... Milan now has more in common with Fiorentina, Udinese, Lazio, etc., than Juve or even Inter. Berlusconi truly broke the club's back this summer. It's an incredibly depressing realization to make, but it's true. Of all years to not invest in the team, it had to happen when we needed replacements for all the veterans that left or retired. And then he went and sold our two best players instead.
