Regarding Pato, he definitely is one of the best finishers like some of ya'll pointed out and i can't imagine the kind of goals he would score if he were put in a Barcelona type midfield. And i feel the main reason for his numerous injuries over the last few seasons is his pace which was his biggest asset a few years ago. Now the reason why his pace has become a problem is directly linked to the weight he has put over the last few seasons, so those muscles of his are not able to handle that weight for that kind of speed. For me one of the solutions to his injury problems would be to use him as our main striker and Ibra play second string. Ibra can score and create chances a skill which Pato is yet to learn. Pato should use his pace only for short distances to steer away from the defenders, play in the box like someone rightly mentioned and use his deadly finishing skills to score goals. Now obviously we have problems using Ibra as second string simply because he is lazy and he is getting old too. That will leave us with not having two players not helping to recover the ball. This is why i would not mind replacing Ibra with a more hardworking second striker or the Ibra-Pato combination is very hard to work. I really hope Pato has an amazing season with us as we all very well know it is otherwise going to be his last in Milan. We have been discussing this and hoping for the best over the last 3 seasons or something.
