Well, I'd say the contrary about Destro and Robinho for example ...
Robinho is a similar player to Cassano : both aren't real strikers, they like to play around the area, move a lot to create spaces for the others, dribbling, and make the last pass instead of scoring ...
El Sharaawy is labelled as a second striker too, but he isn"t totally developped yet as a player, so it could change.
That means right now, we have 3 players in the same register. Pato is the only real striker we have, and actually, I'd say he is more like Ibrahimovic (I mean not a Inzaghi-like player waiting to score, he needs to touch the ball and play with the team).
So if Robinho had to leave, having Destro would be a very good idea (another kind of striker, a new solution for Allegri), and I'm quite sure he would improve very quickly with Ibra or Cassano supporting him ...
Just think about that :
- Boateng behind Ibra and Destro
- Boateng behind Cassano and Destro
- Boateng behind Cassano and Ibra (not the best solution IMO)
- a creative AM (so someone new) behind Pato and Destro
- a creative AM behind Pato and El Shaarawy
- a creative AM behind Destro and El Shaarawy (right now, the worst solution)
That's 6 good solutions, and then, you can also combine them (El Sharaawy can play with whoever, Pato can play with Cassano, not Ibra so far), etc ...
New rumour : Veloso in Milan ... on loan or co-ownership.
We're doing our mercato in Genoa actually !!
