Summer mercato 2012
IDK , for 15mln are there really any players that can replace robinho.. i mean Tevez would be a good player to buy but at the same time he wont cost 15mln, he'll cost 20-25mln.

I agree with you zvonimir , 15mln for robinho, with our management 10 mln of that will go to our replacement probably.

ALSO, after watching italys euro campaign so far maggio has been very impressive, is abate even considered, is he injured or something? I'd like to see him get some minutes in the national team.

If we are trying to sign sahin w option to buy i guess that's a considerable mercato, I mean in the beginning of this season most of us just wanted some midfield additions, until our plague of injuries i think we jumped on a hole new milan, those old players that left barely played or were useless anyways (other then nesta) but Acerbi i guess will be okay, Sahin on loan w/option to buy will be GREAT if he preforms good and we actually buy him.

Our attack is fine yes- but for how long? We have to take into consideration cassano is like 30? Robinho is really near 30, ibrahimovic is 31, only pato and els are young at 22 and 19

So we have a balance of too young(els),injury prone(pato), not exactly young, past his prime id say but also still very effective yes, but also a possible 30 million euros gone (referring to ibra) which could of enhanced a brighter future for us, 30 million euros will always help. and someone who cant find the back of the net, and to say the least did not have a spectacular season at all (other then his two goals against arsenal) in the form of robinho. So no, I don't agree that our attack is fine - maybe for next season but for the future i think it's quite far from it..

YES our attack is good for now, but with FFP and these huge debts we have and us being broke I really can't see quality replacements for any of our attack unless we sell this season MAX next season. I think at ibras age its only a matter of him having a shit season to go from worth 30mill to practically nothing which is always risky in our financial state

EDIT: Also, looks like barbara had numerous phone calls with berlu about silva, and thanks him for his big heart in keeping silva at the club.. kind of weird how, pato and silva were "saved" from leaving by barbara.. Would someone like silva and ibra really be willing to stay if we seriously aren't going to invest? IDK i kind of dont believe that crap, some summers berlu and galli say they wont invest, were fine as we are etc and we actually dont invest, some summers they still say the same BS but we do invest. i really dont know what to expect . But it's been revealed for some time now that Hamsik was our "Mr.X" why did we have the money to pursue him then for 20mln, being 10mln off napolis asking price(30mln), but now with aquilani gone and all our old players wages gone we don't have that same 20m? and still good thing we didnt offer another 10 to make our offer 30mln for hamsik b.c i dont think hes worth that

pazzini??
paloschi??
matri??
llorente??
anymore suggestion??
We need a forward who can run a lot and is a teamplayer to replace Robinho. So Pazzini, Paloschi, Matri or Llorente are not suitable replacement.

A younger Dirk Kuyt is fine for me.

But I don't mind if Binho stays.
Really even if sometimes we , even myself included bash robinho for some poor performances, he adds a lot to our team when he's on his game and he's been one of my favourite players for some time now, really in his real madrid days i loved him, and im pretty sure we bought him for 15mln ? for that same money I don't think we'd find any better players on the market. we could get giuseppe rossi for peanuts if we went for him now and a transfers quite possible but we'd have to nurse him back to health then gamble that he'd regain his form hes been and will be out for a very long time, i'd hesitate to say this but he might not regain his form again. Cassano has still struggled to regain his top form over 2 seasons, of course his heart surgery held him back though

But getting giuseppe rossi now for like 8mln euros, and he does play like he used to will be one of the best transfer gambles I've ever experienced

They are not like Robinho and not better than Robinho and cannot offer what Robinho offered to us.
MILAN! MILAN! SOLO CON TE!
MILAN! MILAN! SEMPRE PER TE!
but can score more goals than robinho
for 15 u cant get a player like robinho
but u can get a striker that score more goals than robinho
Agree with what you guys said about Robinho, but lets face the facts. If all 5 of Milan strikers/forwards are healthy and in form. Ibra and Cassano will start, while Pato will be the first one off the bench, then come Robinho and SES. For 8mil a season, is it worth keeping Robinho at a forth striker/forward whom also can't score? With all his dazzle and hard work, if he can't score, he is not going to cut it in Milan, esp., if he plays that off the bench offense role.
I've read Preziosi said he has ownership of Merkel who's close to Roma. I'm pretty disappointed to see this. Oh, actually speaking of Roma, I read this quote from Zeman, which left me in hysterics. I can't wait to see his Roma, there should never be a dull moment:

“In my football I try to eliminate pointless things, so for me a horizontal pass is futile, as it’s just loaning each other the ball.”

Actually, the guy we're proposing to buy, Francesco Acerbi has been far better in Serie A this season than Mexes and was playing on par in the second part with guys like Thiago Silva and Chiellini. Also, the guy was voted best defender in Serie B the season before this, ahead of another very promising prospect, Angelo Ogbonna.

As Gabriel said, Nesta was better than Mexes last season, although he's left now. Other players that are better than Mexes in Serie A right now include Paolo Cannavaro, Juan, Davide Astori, Leonardo Bonucci, Andrea Barzagli, Mehdi Benatia and Andreas Granqvist.

Even the Inter duo of Lucio and Walter Samuel are better if I'm honest. Oh and obviously there's no need to mention Thiago Silva and Chiellini.

I'm not saying these guys are brilliant either, they're just better than Mexes who lives mostly on reputation earned during the time when he and Juan were at their best (particularly Juan). There's a real lack of quality defenders in the modern game and it's one of the key reasons Man City, Barca, PSG and others are desperate to get a guy like Thiago Silva.

Do we really need to replace him? We still have Cassano, Pato and El Shaarawy to partner Ibra. I'd say use the money to help invest in a better midfielder and look for a cheap alternative to Ibra (a player similar to Maxi Lopez but cheaper). I'd love it if there was a young Dirk Kuyt type player we could get though as Aficio suggests.

Andriy Yarmalenko for 13 mln..........young, tall lanky & strong, runs a lot, can dribble well, seems to be a team player and has both feet good too...plus his idol is sheva, then he has to have a preference for milan too....a kuyt type of player but might be destined for evn bigger stage. he can be used as a striker along with pato and a CAM at Milan.....
