About what happened with PSG/Thiago Silva, is it a personnal vendetta by Berlusconi against Leonardo ?
We all know that Leonardo and Galliani have always been friends and they still are friends, and that's why it seems that the negotiations are easy between them ... Leonardo knows the way Galliani works, he knows what he will wait for (a lot of cash), and he gives it to him right at the start of the negotiations to avoid the long meetings.
We also all know that Leonardo and Berlusconi aren't friends, they don't hate each other, but neither do they like each other ... By becoming the coach of Inter, Leonardo did something that Berlusconi will probably never accept and forgive. So Leonardo reached an agreement for two of our players with Galliani, and twice, Berlusconi stopped it when Leonardo thought it would be done and soon official.
I'm starting to wonder if Berlusconi didn't use Thiago Silva (he probably knew that he would ask for a new contract someday) in this whole story just to kick the ass of Leonardo one more (and probably last) time.
This way, the position of Leonardo in PSG becomes difficult, he was in trouble after what happened with Pato (he went to some TV show saying that there were negotiations for Pato and that he was very optimistic for example, and it was reported that the PSG owner didn't like the fact that he didn't manage to bring Pato then), and he will probably be in trouble in the next few days/weeks if he doesn't quickly buy a new WC player ... His image has also decreased, starting like "one of the best general managers we could have" for the fans of PSG to the "guy who can't get a single WC player despite all that money".
Another thought ...
Milan used Manchester City 3 years ago by blocking the transfer of Kaka' in January, and City were quite angry. In January 2012, we reached an agreement for Tevez before deciding to cancel the deal at the last minute. It was reported that the management of Manchester City didn't really enjoy that and decided not to have any deal with us.
Milan also blocked two transfers when they looked almost sure to be done, in the last minutes again ... It is reported that we're now in the black list of PSG and Leonardo who don't want to deal with us for anything anymore.
Could it be a strategy to keep the richest clubs away from our players in the coming months/years ?
Don't forget he comes back from an injury ...
And anyway, the whole team looked so tired and physically unefficient that it was difficult for any player coming in to be good ... And when you know that the players sent in were Montolivo, Di Natale and Giovinco, the least powerful players of the team, it was obvious there would be a problem.
The three subs played poorly. But on this one, it's Prandelli who is the cause, he just made the bad choices (exactly the same team on the pitch, almost the same subs).
