I don`t think we can be happy about anything at the moment. Honestly, i don`t know weather you are being sarcastic or not, but I believe all of us have witnessed a lot to know better than to believe that Silvio is not behind every major move in milan.

Barbara is just there so she has smth to do, Galliani operates the daily operations. The Mastermind is still Silvio, both in the good time and the bad ones.

Dev, when your employer flies to Paris to negotiate your transfer its not like you have many options left. We are not that stupid to believe that he will not consider a 1 mil per month contract as opposed to the ones he earns in MIlan. Its normal.

But the truth is (at least what we know) that he never has asked for a raise,a abnormal one. He started at 1.8 , to get a 4 mil last year when obviously he was our best player. Kaka on the other hand came to Mlana as kid, we made him, he wont the title in his first season, he played with Sheva,Pippo,Seedorf,Pirlo,Maldini, Nesta, Gattuso, Ambrosini, Cafu...Rui Costa was benched for him. In 3 years he was gaining 9 mil per year. And he was decisive only in 2006. By the end of 2008 we finished 5th, did not qualify for CL and Kaka`s father was unhappy with 9 mil salary.

Last year we were Champions, and we finished the season with 16 goals conceded. only 6 after the break. Guess who was responsible for that. The 1.8 mil player. He deserved his raise. Ibra gets double the salary, robinho is more, Pato and Mexes are equal to him. Have we ever heard Tiago complain, or his representative say smth similar. No, at least not publicly.

I will not believe for a second that Milan did not want to sell, Thiago forced the move. (he would have forced a move to Barca). But as I will not believe that he should stay calm and "resist" 12 mil offer from PSG,when clearly the club intents to sell.

Firstly, I want to say I've always commended Thiago's position at the club and his patience and lack of greed. I stated that when the rumours of his transfer started and I maintain that now. I honestly believe he's not particularly greedy, as Kaka or those around him were.

Now moving on to his situation, sorry but I can't just buy that he's totally innocent in this and I'm sure he was well aware these negotiations would take place before leaving Milan for Brazil. I want to be clear that I don't think he's engineered or forced this move, but either he knew this was happening from the start or he didn't. Either way, his comments in the past and his reaction or lack of in light of this news were totally bogus.

Let's take the first option and say he did know this would happen. If he's prepared to leave if the club sells him, then he should never make comments about becoming captain, ending his career at Milan and wanting to be like Baresi and Maldini (these were spoken as recently as a couple of weeks ago). Basically, his words meant nothing and while many already accept that these days words are cheap in the modern game, I, and I'm sure many other fans, honestly believed Thiago Silva's more genuine when speaking to the media and had his honour. Now if he stays and continues to speak as he has done, then what value do his words have now when we've seen he won't object a transfer? This is something Maldini admitted to. He was given offers when he was going through tough times at the turn of the century, and he ended the rumours before they began. PSG offer triple his wages, which is fine to consider, but honouring your words (at least to me) is more important, especially when you earn enough to set you for life. If money is going to make you think twice, then you shouldn't make such commitments.

The second scenario is that Thiago Silva genuinely didn't know the club would enter negotiations. If this is the case, then I know I'd be furious that the club would enter negotiations about my future and life without my consent or knowledge and I would speak out about it. Moving country, playing with a new team etc. is a massive change and no one should enter negotiations without the player's knowledge and consent. I doubt this was the case with Silva though.

It's for these reasons I see Thiago in a different light. His silence and lack of presence anywhere it seems is the final aspect that makes this whole situation dubious. Staying quiet and not showing himself basically means that when all this is over, he can come out and spin things to favour his image. I guarantee you that when this is over, Thiago Silva will be generally seen as innocent either way.

Also, yesterday Geotav mentioned Cassano's comments as inappropriate. Normally I'd agree, but I think given the situation and the fact that the club's actions would provoke reactions, I can accept his or any other player's comments of this nature. After all, the players at the club right now have been promised a competitive side for the next few years and with this action the club were going back on their word. What was inappropriate were his comments about gay players, but this is a different topic altogether.

In the Feb issue of Forbes earlier this year. It was estimated that Berlu has a net worth of 5.9billion. How can someone who is worth that much say he is broke or has no money to spend.

What I don't understand is the fact that why is Milan is such bad shape, while Juve is not? Then why can't Berlu just sell Milan and buy Parma or Fiorentina.
