Anything is possible. But for me, Milan tries to cash in on Silva; I personally can't see why Silva would want to leave on his own.
Maybe the fact that he will probably earn at least twice as much at PSG? I wouldn't exclude that possibility...
Or Milan is getting as much as they want for their top assets.
Maybe Silva wants I leave due to more money or better team....
But the fact is all these rumors started with Galli stating it is hard to resist offers for Silva. Secondly, Silva did not complain about his wages, but I believe Boateng did. Ofcourse they are rumors, but there was not one rumor about Silva wantingn to leave to Barca or PSG or wanting a better salary.
Point I am trying to make, u can twist all u want, but I do believe Milan ws shopping Silva around more than Silva is looking for a better pay cheque.
Lastly, even if Silva is asking for a raise, can u blame him, as he currently is earnin less than Mexes. Once agin, Galli screws Milan up big time.

AC Milan News @Milanello
Gazzetta dello Sport reports that today's meeting between Milan and PSG could be the last one - i.e. the deal could be finalized today.
AC Milan will look to loan Francesco Acerbi from Genoa as TS's Replacement.

No, I agree; as I said, anything is possible. You don't have to convince me, and I will do the same.

You can't really call a man a villain just because he wants to earn more money than he's earning at the moment.
We're talking about figures of near one million euros a month being thrown around, can you really blame him? He won't be earning that much with us in his entire contract. You can talk about club loyalty all you want, but the fact is, a footballer's career lasts max 20 years, 25 if you are as lucky as Maldini, but you never know what will happen in the future (career-ending injuries, illness, accidents, loss of form, etc.) would you not try to get the best deal for yourself when you are at the peak of your powers? You might argue that your current club may (or may not) reward you for your loyalty, but will that reward be enough?
Lets face it, we are in no way anywhere near competing properly for titles if we have no further investments, even a two year old can see that. Thiago isn't dumb. If he's interested, that means he can see more potential for that club to win anything over his current club. I doubt any of you would disagree with that analysis. The French league may seem a step down, but they have star (mercenary) players, and they have a rich backer who is willing to invest in top talent to succeed, those two things are already more than what Milan have.
Unless something drastically changes in Berlu's mindset, we will have it worse off, will not be able to compete on the market, and all our best players will want out. Simple as that.
Berlu OUT!
We got the young 'un's. We take out big gunz

Flamini's gone, Thiago Silva is almost gone, and Ibra could go, if you add that to the former stars leaving, that means our most paid players are or will be gone this summer, which makes our club financially healthier.
Only if the income stays the same, which is a huge? Bc unlike last year with its Mr.X saga and being Serie A Champ, a lot of extra merchandise were sold, while this summer that probably won't happen. Not to mention the potential decrease in CL income.
But I'm curious to know what are the parts of merchendising in our incomes ...
Our main revenue, I think, comes from the "tickets for a year" (abonnamenti in Italian, abonnements in French, don't remember how to say it in English ) we're going to sell this summer and the tickets that will be sold during the season for each game.
EDIT : Our main revenue after TV ...
Then, we're going to be in the first hat in CL, so we should at least qualify for the 1/8 finals as we won't play Barcelona or Real Madrid this time (but who knows, maybe PSG or City with Dortmund or other). I don't think the difference is huge between 1/8 finals and 1/4 finals for example (and I don't exclude us to go further in CL next season depending on what team we'll send, there is a whole summer yet ... and then, who knows, maybe by having less WC players will lead us to play better as a team as we will have to be more compact) ...
So IMO, concerning money, we're going to win more than we're going to lose by selling Thiago Silva or/and Ibra and by decreasing our wages bill ...
One should not speak ill of the dead.
So stop laughing at Juventus !
This will be funny if the deal is about Pato and Robinho heading to PSG instead of Silva. Actually to top that, imagine this is a deal about Bonera and Mesbah.

I wouldn't blame Silva if he wanted better wages at Milan, he certainly has deserved it. I'm just trying to say that a case has at least two sides. I'm not trying to make Silva a villain, because I would really want him to stay no matter what.

I should have written "villain". I'm not considering Silva a villain. Just wanted to point out that a case as at least two sides.
I also understand that Milan right now can't compete with wages at clubs like Man City, PSG, Real Madrid, Barcelona. So if money is all that matters for these players, then I'm expecting more to leave us.
I am not sure about how much merchandise sale will decrease, but pretty sure the sale of Silva and possibly Ibra and finishing second won't help in ticket sales. As for CL, true that Milan won't be in the group with Barca and Real, but that does not mean they won't play them in the first knockout stage. If anything, that's a higher chance now. I think prize money, TV, And gates for an extra round of CL is about 10 mil or so. On more thing, I read somewhere there there are bonuses paid out to certain clubs like Real and Barca bc. They attract more fans. Sure Milan had that too last season but might not this season due to the lost of Silva and Ibra.
Then there is the sponsorship deals, I think most of these deals got penalties or escape clause if the club does not meet any conditions. Or bonuses for achieving more.
Lastly, due to not owning their own stadium, Milan main source of income comes from sponsorship and TV.
You people act like the guy was starving at Milan. He made Millions of Euros PER YEAR, which in Brazil will buy a city. No one in the World deserves 12M Euros per year, no one. Not with billions starving, but that's a topic for another day.
Players on the Yankees make 25 Million Per year, also disgusting.
This transfer will not see us buy any world class players, I promise you. Fool me once (Sheva), fool me twice (kaka), but don't fool me three times. He will not be replaced. Plus, he's irreplaceable. He's the best defender in the World. Without him, we wouldn't have had made Champions League.
You can bet you're last penny that Ibrahimovic is leaving too. It's bad enough he has to play with Sweden, he doesn't want that level on his Club Team too. He's gone. We will literally be lucky to qualify for Europa League next year. I'm not being dramatic. I feel the situation is really that bad at this point.
