Can anyone explain to me in as simple terms as possible, what it is about this so called "Financial Fair Play" that allows clubs like Man City, Barcelona, PSG, etc to spend so much money..but renders Milan broke? If FFP is on the horizon, why aren't other clubs scared about how much money they're spending?
From what I understand these clubs are violating the FFP rules because their revenue (not money from benefactors) is much less than their expenditure.
A lot of people seem to think debt disqualifies you. I am not sure that is the case. Man U have a lot of debt, but their gigantic revenue means they can service it.
This all depends on UEFA's willingness to enforce...I have a feeling none of this will be enforced strictly.
