Sacchi is dead true, there is a lack of faith on young players in Italy, especially within big clubs.
Milan is a prime example, we're constantly offloading young player to loans, and they eventually get sold. Merkel, Strasser, De Vito, Paloschi...
I remember De Vito looked very promising when he played once in a cup game. De Sciglio looked very promising also, even in his first game at senior level. That's two players to fix our full back problems we're plagued with for years. But, as same as with De Vito, De Sciglio will be offloaded pretty quickly, I can bet my life on it, although even now he's as good as Antonini, the least to say.
As for Inter, I remember Santon was great when he was introduced, yet he was only 17. I would swear that Maldini wasn't better when he was 17, and he's emerged as perhaps the best left-back of all-time.
