Also Mesbah is being sold to Atalanta or Siena, and Robinho seems to be gone to Santos. Doesnt seem we have plan to buy anyone, WOW we may be a mid-table team next year.

Just a reminder: The transfer window hasn't opened yet and it's 4 months left until it's closing. I can't guarantee a perfect mercato, not by any means, but I still feel it's a bit early to start digging our graves...

The fact that Nesta is leaving Italy and not for one of our rivals is the only solace I can find in the news of his departure.

That said, I totally agree with Aril, we have the whole of EURO 2012 plus the Olympics to pick out good players. Wasn't Ozil sold to Madrid only after a great World Cup? Look at him now.

As sad as it is to see our Senators leaving, I feel that it's been a long time coming now. We need youth, we need pace, unpredictability, stamina, and a desire to fight for the shirt. Just take a look at Pato when he first got here. He was practically indefensible. With all the great players we have shipping out, Berlu and Uncle Fester are having their hands forced to replace quality with quality, and they all know it.
Ibra claiming the current campaign as a failure just further pressures them to act. When your team's arguably best and most consistent player starts talking about a lack in quality of the team, management will respond or risk losing even him in the season afterwards as well.

The only problem we have will be sifting through the CVs to find the ones that are true quality.

I don't think I've ever seen such a huge exodus of players in a long time now. I eagerly anticipate what management plans to do this Mercato.
