From all the players that had contracts expiring only two of them were first team players (deserervingly so) and would be very influential next season also,Nesta and MVBommel and we are letting them go first. To me this is unforgivable. Gattuso,Ambro will be renewed.Bless their heart but none of them are first team material,Bommel is.
So to be more precise. Now we need First team (read quality) Left back, Center Back, Holding Midfielder, and that Creative Midfielder that we are craving about for years now,to say the least.
If our midfield by the end of the mercato is consisted of Monotlivo?,Nocerino,Muntari,Ambro,Gattuso,Traore,Merkel,Strasser(total transfer cost of this midfield is less than 1 mil) , i will be hugely disappointed that we left Bommel and Aquilani go.
You dont win Trophies with a midfield that cost you 1 mil. simple as that.

A great player whose eye for goal is incredible. His movement really impresses me. Shame he costs so much. He's one player I'd like, although if I could get any forward right now it'd be Cavani.

That would be a real overhaul. Sad, but exciting at the same time. I personally don't remember any summer like that, even in the summer of 2008. It was rumored that every player on Milan roster could leave (including Maldini), and the only two players confirmed for the following seasons were Bierhoff (he did join) and Boksic (turned out that he didn't even join, LOL). I don't think this summer will be like that one, I think we'll see some major changes though with the squad.

I agree with only keeping Ambro for the purpose of leadership role but not him and Gattuso. As I mentioned already, the current Milan does not need Gattuso to succeed.
I know Slowdorf is 99% gone, but unless he signed with another club, I am not celebrating just yet. I said it many times, Slowdorf leaving Milan is like Milan winning the CL.

Wish he becomes Pirlo? Then he wouldn't be needed and go to another team and make them champions ahead of us... Talk about giving away the Scudetto. 
if Rino and Ambrosini stay, Milan shouldnt offer them more than 1 m euros, which Del Piero earned at Juventus this season, We are only one who pays 3-4-5 m euros wages to 35-36-37 years old players.
Last season, we started the season with 6+1 midfield, +1 was Emanuelson. When Flamini injured, Nocerino signed. Then others joined regarding injury status. Thank god that we have a CL list. so we cant have 10 midfield. at most 6+1 or 6+2.
Milan's leaders are Van Bommel, ibrahimovic, Silva and Gattuso. i think that we at most should keep one of Ambrosini and Gattuso and also very low wage range. at most 1 m euros. Gattuso was injured almost all season, he already said that he could play for free, so 1 m euros wage wont make him upset.
Honestly, i watched Traore one more time, its not enough to judge a player, however i didnt rate him much. Montolivo is quality player, so im happy with his signing.
it seems Yepes's contract will be renewed, Flamini accepted 2 m euros offer yet wants quarantees from Allegri.
Ogbonna, Criscito, Hernanes would be great mercato for me. We can use the money from Taiwo's and Vila's sale to sign Criscito. We already linked with him in the recent months, then, Hernanes, he is what Milan midfield needs, a leader, a player who makes players better around him, Moreover, he can play in Boateng's place when Boateng is injured. at least we wont need to use Emanuelson there.
Signing Hernanes wont be a problem for us, we already reduced wages, Zambrotta left, 7 m euros saved from his wages. Seedorf 6 m euros, Van Bommel 7 m euros, Flamini 10-4=6 m euros. Lazio might ask for 20+ m euros, this wont be problem considering we might pay this amount in 3-4 parts.
