I think from 2007-2011 we got worse every year. Now, we're moving in the right direction and have a big, deep, squad with some very good players. A few pages back I outlined how we can actually spend just a little, and cut our wage bill, at the same time as bringing in better players, like Hernanes, Tevez & others. Check it out as I don't want to keep reposting it.

I would put my house on no1 big and very usefull arriving ...Cassano, Van Bommel , Boateng great ...Urby Aquilani Mesbah Maxi Taiwo not so good..Mexes only so so..
My point is they ate happy with free signings and want to spend very little yet are very quick to criticize when we are dominated and lose which happens in the champions league a fair bit.
You can't win a formula 1 race with a nice cheap 2002 BMW , or a free 98 fiesta..my point is that unless the spend at least 25-30 million
