yes to hamsik and schweini, no to podolski and lopez.

Milan needs quality.

and I agree with Geo that we should probably have a young and promising GK as our third choice, like Abbiati in 98-99. Half a season later, he rose to the top, thanks to Lehmann's incompetence and Rossi's madness. Icon_lol2

Every Transfer Thread you spout out nonsense about us buying Podolski and Schweinsteiger & Hamsik, etc. It's not going to happen.

You should post in the "Fantasy Signings" Thread. There is ZERO chance of any of those guys coming to us at this point, nor would I want Podolski.
yeah, its quite annoying when people make unreasonable transfer suggestions. come one people, you are not 5 years old anymore, if it doesn't have a real chance of happening or there is no evidence of it happening then don't mention it
Rumours on milannews are Pato could be exchanged with Ramos (to replace Nesta) of Real in the summer. Little else to suggest this would happen at this moment though.

I strongly doubt there's any truth to this, but I woudl do this exchange in a heart beat... as a long time fan of Ramos. Big Grin

He is Real's only defender with good positioning and tactical sense... and elegant tackles. Big Grin

Ramos is a very good defender but I wouldn't say that he or any Madrid defenders for that matter has "elegant tackles". 9 out of 10 times against lesser teams/players perhaps but when playing against the very best like Messi & co, he easily loses his temper and can be just as mean as the brute that is Pepe, all he wanna do is break some legs. After being shown RC, he'll strangle the opponent's neck for good measure.

Have you ever seen Nesta or T. Silva resorted to such things? Now that is elegant.

Why are we even discussing this Ramos-Pato rumors? We all know that if and when Pato leaves, he will be sold to the highest bidder and not a player exchange deals.

To be honest, with more and more teams chooses to play with ONE striker instead of TWO, teams can do without WC defenders(just look at the Dutch and Germany Int'l teams). I think the game today is changing back to having a stack midfield to win possession and play direct balls to striker or Attk mids.

Current champions Barca and Spain NT play with 2 - 3 attackers, so WC defenders are a must.

I also think it won't happen, BUT if it had to happen, I wouldn't mind letting Pato go to Real Madrid for Ramos + 40M ... Sagrin

Actually, it's not a good deal, nor a bad deal (Ramos vs Pato), because I think Ramos can be a lot better than Mexes, and learning from Nesta and Thiago Silva could help him to stop losing his mind during some games ... But at the same time, selling Pato isn't something I want even if it will very probably happen during the next mercato. Anyway, why would Madrid want to take our most injury prone player ... since Kaka' ?! Huh
One should not speak ill of the dead.
So stop laughing at Juventus !
The new philosophy in Football is not about how many attackers you have when you attack. Its how much attackers you have when you defend.
