Our next 2 games are against newly promoted sides. We need to win both of these to get enough confidence and courage to face aginst Inter. Just praying that Giampaolo doesn't underestimate the opponents, just same he did agianst Udinese. Brescia is good team with players like Tonali, Bisoli, Terregossa, A. Donnarumma, Balotelli, Chancellor. They are up to survive this season. We have to play with full strength squad not those bench rots like Samu and Borini.
Forza Diavolo ale!!!

I expect to see new players integrated in in this team, Bennacer and Leao especially. Hope to see Jack back as well. I dont know if hes fallen in love with Suso, but I guess Suso will still start from the 1st min ( hope Im wrong though).. Samu, Borini shouldnt start.
if he fields the exact same shit then no choice, its #giampaoloout #boycottforum for me ![]() (08-27-2019, 06:04 AM)edysim Wrote: I expect to see new players integrated in in this team, Bennacer and Leao especially. I think part of playing guys like Borini, Samu and Hakan is the fact that they've been there for 8 weeks training and busting their ass. Now, I agree. Best players should play. BUT, there is something to be said about managing the group psycholigically as well. When you have someone working for 8 weeks, you can't just throw them out of the team when others show up for 3-4 training sessions. That player would lose their head and you'll have issues getting them back psychologically. So I'm not too worried about Borini or Samu or Hakan starting right now. If they are still starting in late September though, then it would be time to worry. You could say, who cares if they lose their head as they are not essential. But I would disagree. It destabilizes the group and we also need the bench to be motivated and to buy into the coach's ideas and philosophy. So it's a nice way to show the group that hard work will be rewarded and it counts for a lot. But evidently, sooner or later it will be clear that these guys have no business starting games....and they won't be. On Suso...he had a mixed bag of performances during the summer. Some great displays and then some terrible ones. I think everyone is hoping he works out as a ACM since he seems to be staying....but unfortunately for us, I don't think it'll happen. He might have some good games here and there, but on the whole he won't be good enough and will definitely be inconsistent. If we stick with 4312 (i hope we do as I think this squad is best suited for that), there is no way he could be forced into the line up for long. Sooner or later, Bonaventura and/or Paqueta will take over that spot. Hopefully MG and management realize this sooner then later. Or maybe they already have...but it obviously hasn't been easy to sell him. |
