Its a good step forward for Witsel, he will get his transfer to one of europe's big teams in a few years. Benfica is a great club to show yourself to the rest of europe.

I just want to clarify, I have no opinion on Witsel since I only saw him play once. I just felt uncomfortable with the 15 million figure floating around in the press. That seemed too high for a young player I never heard of until a month ago.

just like 50 mil euros for Pastore. We don't know the price until a club finally signs the player (sometimes the price is hard to know even though a player has signed for a new club).

the new signings (well, El Shaarawy and Taiwo) have apparently impressed Allegri after their first training session, which is good to hear.
More importantly, Allegri has made it clear he would still like a mezzala to complete the team.
