Just had an interesting thought after reading an article on milannews about Sweinsteiger, saying we may look to seal a deal at the end of the month at the Audi cup for him. Both him and Hamsik will be in the preliminary rounds of the CL. Therefore, if we seriously intend to get one of them, then it must be done this month, or there's a huge risk of them being cuptied in CL.

The other thing is that both Bayern and Napoli are not in a most sell position for Sweinsteiger and Hamsik. And if they sell them, they actually want to replace them with ready players since they do want to compete. That's why I doubt both teams would want to sell them on the last day of transfer.
As for Honda not raising the level of Milan, Dev, r u serious? Since If Milan signs Honda today, he is right away the best midfielder in Milan. As I really don't see any current Milan midfielder providing what he can. But if you mean compare him to other potential targets, then I understand. I think he is currently just a little bit better than Ganso overall at this moment, while Ganso creativity is way ahead of Honda. As for Hamsik, well Hamsik still has not shine on the big stages while Honda has, thats the difference for now. But Both Hernanes and Cesc are better player than Honda. Cesc in a Barcelona uniform is pretty scary, as I can see Pep moving Inesita further up the midfield and have a midfield trio of Cesc, Xavi and Basquet.

How would he move Iniesta further up, when he has Pedro or Villa to bench and on top of that they are offering 40 mil for Sanches??????
No ho visto Superman volare, ma ho visto Super Pippo segnare. I supereroi esistono davvero.

Schweinsteiger will be, however. The suspense continues .

Good point about Napoli and Bayern's position. Sorry if I wasn't clear about Honda. If we buy him then our team will improve. There's no doubt about this as only Boateng and Seedorf come close to being able to provide what Honda can. However, when I talk about raising the level of our team, I guess you can say I'm referring to "Champions" as defined by Galliani or Moggi. Essentially, a player like Ibrahimovic last summer, who will not only instantly raise the profile of the team, but is capable of being a player to instantly make a strong impact in the side and be a leader or strong personality on the pitch. As I said, I do rate Honda, but I don't see him making this kind of impact. Hamsik may not be considered of that level yet, but with both him and Ganso I see the potential to become a player of that stature. Thanks for the correction, I thought Napoli were for some reason, but it's Udinese.

Well, considering they bought Mascheano for like 25 mil last season and pretty much left him on the bench. I dont think they will start Sanchez due to his price tag. IMO, they don't need Sanchez and Cesc since they have more than enough options upfront and in midfield. |
