Do we have the budget to cover all the DM positions by great players,we are having seedorf,ambro,gatusso and MVB at the end of careers.

I doubt ambro,gatusso and MVB being great players throughout their careers.when we first get ambro and gatusso,they were just average players,even not fringe guys for NT.

we have a compact backine and defensive midfield as any powerhouse in europe,to challenge CL,we need to save our budget for great attacking players,like ACM or wingers.

The problem is they are all wingers except Kaka. Our DNA is 4-3-1-2. We already have enough starts in forward position. Robinho, Pato, ibra, Cassano.

We just need 2 players, LCM and CAM...

Every time we do deals with Genoa, I get worried. I'm worried that something is up. The boateng deal seems basically a buying of Genoa's EU spot which I doubt the FIGC would approve. If we do it again, they might come after us.

The Vidal deal seems unlikely at this point, and although I haven't seen much of him I wouldn't mind a Chilean player at the moment, as they've got some real gems. I really like the work ethic and tactical discipline of the modern Chilean players.

There are rumours of Ganso again (naturally), but I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't come this summer. I think he will come, but in January. This deal works well for both Milan and Santos, as Milan can let him continue to grow in Brazil a little longer and hopefully Santos will reduce the price a little if they're given a chance to hold onto him until after the World Club cup.

I rarely speculate about ostensibly far-fetched deals. However, I do think that we're in the running to sign Fabregas.

The pregnant silence around our real target and the growing speculation in admittedly peripheral media outlets have raised my expectations. I think our interest is real, and our offer will be substantial. I know some here think that those of us waiting for the "Fabregas e' del Milan" headline in late July or August are deluded, but I have hope. The funds we are gathering from players' sales, and the funds we may gather from the departure of Cassano could be used to launch a 35 million euros+ bid.

Thiago Silva was in the news again today, professing his love for our shirt. I hope this doesn't turn into a Kaka saga, but I think it already has. Paolo Berlusconi, the brother of Silvio, also recently said that if a colossal offer came in for TS it would make sense to sell him to buy many Thiago Silvas. I'm not sure the logic of "we better start signing players now before FFP" is valid. That's why I'm one of the serious doubters of Cesc coming to Milan.

I meant 3rd spot in the UEFA coefficient rankings (which of course means Italy loses the right to have 4 clubs in the CL).

It's true--it will be impacted, but the time to absorb the losses will be greater. I am not saying for Silvio to fund the entire operation through his pocket, but if he is to contribute it is better to do it now than a year from now. Wenger said the same about the transfer market a few days ago.

Also, after reading extensively on the FFP topic, it seems UEFA will show some flexibility if your losses are showing a trend of decreasing. This again raises the idea of how strictly the rules will be enforced.
