I think the game that Caught my eye for Modric is the Croatia England game where he just dominated the midfield both offensively and defensively. But he never reached the level in that game again. There were glimpses here and there but I think overall, he is just a good midfielder. He has the tools to be great but he just ain't there by a mile.

He's born to Ghanaian parents in Italy (I think). He's definitely not related to Kevin Prince.
Thx Dev... I was curious if his name appearing at the same season when Prince joined us was a coincidence or not... Guess it is.
Regarding El Shaarawy, Preziosi wants to cool his fans' anger for selling their best youngster and anyway he said it's a 25Mio "operation" not that this was his price and I guess he calculated that as Merkel= 10mio + El Shaarawy = 15mio as we concluded from their half prices. So nothing new there.
Pirlo was the best CM in the world in 2006-2007, so PLEASE do not say Modric is better than Pirlo. It will insult our intelligence.
As for our Transfer Campaign thus far, it is awkward to get rid of our LCM (Merkel) for an ACM/SS in El Shaarawy. We must get at least (2) midfielders, and even more so now. Even if we were to get Hamsik, I still feel like we're lacking in the midfield department. We need a LCM ....

Thank you... BTW - Riccardo Oliveira is greatest Milan striker of all time. That's my contribution to this ridiculous Modric/Pirlo discussion.

Honest mistake - one's a prince, the other is Kingsley.

bijon in fairness, what you said was Modric can be better than Pirlo. You didn't say he can be better than 2011 32 year old after a long injury Pirlo. No need to insult people.
And Javi Moreno was our best striker..FACT!!!
I am Milan's best player ever and I play every single position
Rumour mill is quiet, let's close this thread for now

It was said that Modric is a better passer, better w two feet, etc etc.....
Modric does NOT have the vision Pirlo had. You cannot compare them now as Pirlo is washed up and his career is finished. That's the reason why we released him. Modric may be playing better NOW, but in their primes, there is no question as to who is better. Comparing them is silly.
We have not been linked with Modric. We have been linked with many other players and no one knows who we will buy at this moment. We know Allegri likes dynamic midfielders, strong, can defend, can run etc. Therefore, we may have an idea of who it could be, but we do not know who it will be.
Saying I have no intelligence is not classy. Stick to the topic. After all this is all based on opinion.

Neither will add more value right now, as neither is suited to Allegri's system.
Why resort to personal insults? Simply no need for it.
