Milan to leave San Siro

It just doesn't make sense. To add to it, taking off the penalty clause when Bee and Berlusconi signed a second pre-contract last week also doesn't make sense either.

I hope that I am just being unnecessarily paranoid.

It seems the two parties are at loggerheads. However, let's not assume the worst yet, apparently there will be meetings towards the end of summer to try and work things out.

Article says that there is a shift to plan B in the Falck di Sesto San Giovanni area some 18 km from Casa Milan.
It is a pity that the opportunity to have a stadium adjacent to Casa Milan is being lost.

But they say that at the new place, they are going to increase the capacity to 60k which Is good news.

Reports state the Plan B will be built on a privately owned site. Reclamation costs will be paid by the site owner, who happens to be a business associate of Berlu's, effectively cutting costs for us.

The only downside would be that the Stadium will be on the outskirts of town..... which isn't really all that different from the San Siro. I remember having to walk quite a bit from the station when I went to watch our last CL Qualifying match against PSV, and I doubt the new place would be any further than that.

If Plan B gets the green light, they're considering following Juve's method of providing shuttle buses to and from the nearest metro station and the stadia.

I think that public transport and access to the stadium has always been a big part of this project. I remember it was put as a key focus even in the very early stages.

Corriere della Sera says there have been no new contacts about Portello area. Also for other sites the willingness to spend millions for any new stadium is dying.

I guess no new stadium anytime soon

Yeah I just saw some news in local website no new stadium because of Bee, Berlu said.. [emoji37][emoji37]
