Astori probably used to get Nocerino
All TMW

I don't like the last one. Nocerino is a decent midfielder, but Astori is a good defender, and considering our CBs, as someone stated a few posts above, only Thiago Silva is reliable. Yepes and Nesta are old.

Guys lets just sign Diego Ribas. His time in the seria a shouldnt be judged by one year with a horrible Juve/coach.

Im guessing he will be cheap and he is still pretty young.
What do you guys think?

Mexes should be back in September. I don't know when exactly they will be officially presented, but likely before the first official training, so early July then.
I heard that because Digao left we now have another non EU spot.
Is that true?

We've been linked to drogba again.. I wouldn't mind this depth in the attack never hurts Big Grin but we have paloschi who im eager to see what he can do , if we do get drogba id expect to see paloschi loaned out

You can have as many Non-Eu's as you want, but you can only (currently) sign 1 per year (not in Serie A)....

Therefore Digao's leaving has nothing to do with anything.

FIGC should change the rule, (2) Non EU's per year and then we can buy Ganso

Does anyone know why they implemented this rule in the first place? Is this an effort to promote local talents or something? Huh

It was. Of course, any team can easily buy EU players or even players with EU passport, so local talents do not necessarily get playing time either.
The team gets back together on the 12th of July, so a month from now. Hopefully Taiwo and Mexes wont be the only guys being presented then. Anyway it should be an event to look forward to, Berlusconi might hold another one of his shows like last year.
