Watched Italy Croatia, which was OK though marred by fan trouble. I really liked Soriano, who is doing great at Samp this season. SES also had a good impact though tries to force the goal a little too much.

I think one can partly blame formations and tactics and not just the player himself but Zaza looked like Balo, all balls lost and given away.

In Montenegro yesterday Akinfeev was taken to hospital after a flare hit him in the 1st minute, unbelievably after initially stopping the game ref continued but then had to cancel it due to brawls.
