I think the best way to beat Barcelona is they somehow got a flu bug and guys like Messi, Villa, Xavi, Iniesta, Pugol and Pique all get sick and can't play.
For real, I really don't think any team could beat Barcelona at the moment if all things are equal, like injuries, suspension.... They are not unbeatable but to beat them will probably be a combination of Barcelona not playing at their best while the opposition is having the game of their life.
The last time I felt this strong about a team was when Milan still got the Dutch Trio. I think it will be fun to watch Carlo's Milan play Barcelona, but I really can't say Milan can beat them.
Where as I think the Dutch Trio Milan will beat this Barcelona team, mainly b/c I just don't think they can beat the likes of Baresi, Maldini, Frank and Carlo with Rudd and MVB up front.
Back to transfer, Schweinsteiger will be a great signing and he fits in with the team. I still think Hernanes will be coming though. Also, would people stop saying sell Ibra and dump his salary and get other players, and I not being all pro Ibra, but to rely on Pato and Neymar/ Rossi/ Pastore or whoever you can come up with for Milan in a whole season is abit insane, since Pato will be out for half a season.
Personally, I will give Pato 2 more years, as these 2 years will show that if he is going to be someone like Pedro or Villa.

Since WC2010, I have dreamed of Schweini in Pirlo's position. Deeplying, CM or LCM, LM, he can plays at high level.
I just don't think Bayern could let symbols like him and Lahm go.
I just realize a trend. Over the last 2 years, the team that sold Ibra ended up winning the CL. Maybe Milan should try that, hahahaha.
For real, to those who still think Slowdorf is good enough to play for Milan in CL next year....b/c of his exp., passing and ability to hold up the ball. Imagine having Slowdorf in midfield against Barcelona, he will wish he left Milan instead of getting play like a monkey, b/c thats how I felt when I saw guys like Park, Carrick, Giggs and company this morning. The thing is, I don't think any of the current Milan midfield has the quality to play with Barcelona at the moment. MVB with his dirty tough tricks will most likely get a yellow in the first half, maybe Boateng can handle his own but the rest of the midfield will be chasing shadows. I think the commentators during the game said it best, Barcelona is a team with great individual talents while playing like a true team.

You needd an Italian team to beat Barcelona. Only an Italian team has the mentality of defense that will be able to cope with Barcelona.
That team, is Milan  .

We are solid enough in defence. Abate, Nesta, Silva and Taiwo backline is one of the best backlines in the world. Abate improved so much defensively... He could manage to stop the likes of Ronaldo and Eto'o without any problem. Our defense is no doubt world class... i like and rate Vidic high but our Silva is much better...Lets talk about midfield trio and attack. Robinho can cause problem for them, Pato can do...ibra always failed at high tempo vs strong Cb's... Boateng is important element and can be important element to stop the likes of Xavi with his size...
But our midfield trio is not enough to beat Barcelona. As we need complete midfielders there, can play our game and destroy their games with pressing... We need more than Hernanes to do it... Manchester midfield is weak as well... Park, Valencia, aged Scholes, Carrick ...Manchester did their maximum by playing final with their team work...However i didnt expect them to beat Barcelona...
Barcelona's movement, passing are amazing... Messi, Xavi and Dani Alves are very important for them... To play better football than them, you need more quality...To beat them, you will stop their game and play your own game...
This is why im thinking that we should invest in midfield trio heavily, 1 or maybe 2 world class 2 way midfielders...Then we will have a chance to face with them in final... Otherwise, we dont have any chance with only Asamoah...

We need more quality and we need to play like a team. Their midfield is so superior to others, they have three players in Messi, Xavi and Iniesta, each of whom could easily marshall an entire team. That's why you can't even wish to man mark anyone out of game. I believe that when Inter Merda beat them over two legs, Iniesta was absent from both games, Barcelona was extremely tired due to valcano affecting their itinerary, Mourinho's "humble" tactics (packing the midfield), and of course luck such as Milito's obvious offside goal and contraversy over Bojan's last minute goal disallowed. I think without any element, that would not have happened.
But we will have to start by upgrading our own team first. We have not been in CL QF for a while now, why are we talking about beating Barcelona? For now, we should talk about how to beat Spurs when we meet them again.
