Winter mercato January 2015
Destro too expensive, we turn to Okaka again...

I'm getting sick of these crappy links. vomit
Sell T.Silva Ibra.
Lose 90% of high earners that same summer..wage bill almost halved.
Reduce all players wage by 20% for failing to get to UCL.
Rookie cheap coach.
No even reasonable investment.
Lots of new sponsors from Asia especially Japan.
New shirt sponsorship with a considerable amount extra per year.
Sell Balotelli €20m cut Kaka Robihos big wage.YET STILL LOSE €70M IN A YEAR...HOW

Well the Galliani syndrome.
Essien Muntari Matri Torres Mexes Agazzi Zaccardo Albertazzi Noce Matri costing over €40m in wages. No UCL so no Euro money no UCL sponsors.Continuing to sign old past it players on massive wages.

Paying Seedorf €5m a year (tax included) this club is horribly run.It will not change as long as Berlusconi owns this sinking former giant.
Again: "Berlusconi to sell Milan?"

It will be followed closely by a Galliani denial...
It makes you wonder if these people can even run a newspaper stand successfully....let alone a multimillion euro company.

Having said that, I think this team should be performing better the what they are. We should be in the mix for 3rd spot now and not as far back as we are. Pippo is losing his way here. We do ok against better teams because we keep 9 players behind the ball and are so careful when attacking, not pushing too many numbers up too quick. We struggle against smaller sides because we do the complete opposite...and we are simply not good enough to do that. It's up to Pippo to change this but 19 games in he still hasn't.

Of course, this doesn't excuse Berlu or Galliani for the mess they've been creating for years now. This club should be fighting for the scudetto and not 3rd place or even Europa League.
I've mentioned it in the management thread, but Silvio has denied the rumours according to Milannews.

No club has a devine right to fight for Serie A or UCL (not a pop at you as I agree) but this club is 100% mid-table , I do believe with a proper coach and MGT structure even this squad could finish 3rd.But the willingness is not there. We will be in the bottom half in 2 weeks I guarantee it.

Jay, when you think of Milan, Barca, Bayern, Man U, Juventus, Real, etc........you expect these teams to be fighting for the championship in their respectable nations. The fact that we have a squad that is MAYBE able to fight for 3rd place is a problem in itself. It points to failure somewhere in some part of the club. To have a top 10 revenue in the world and to not be able to fight for the championship in Italy is a problem.

Every team has the right to fight for the championship if they want to or if they are good enough. Some however are expected (and SHOULD) to be up there more so then others.

“Milan's President Silvio Berlusconi reiterates, once again, that these hypotheses are void of substance.” - unfortunately not only these hypotheses but his promises are also void of substance. Something that's fine in politics but not so much in football.
