Whether we spend it on transfers or not remains to be seen, but surely it will be helpful to the club in some way, shape or form.

Good things are happening in our club, the big problem is they should have been done a long time ago. I'm referring to our now talent stacked youth teams, our plans to build a stadium, and our emphasis on shorter contracts for old geezers and hopefully the next step is to stop signing past prime big contract players in the first place.

Please no Okaka, I will never watch Milan again. He lacks any skill at all, he's just a big physical guy, but he'd be frustrating to watch.. He goes against everything that I would personally look to in an ideal striker. We're making a huge mistake by not trying to buy Kramaric. He's the only player who shows the promise to be something big that isn't completely out of our financial reach. I have a feeling he'll end up in Italy with Rubentus or merda..

On the firsr part you'd like to think theres a bit of money ...but this summer we "offered" €28m for Iturbe and were looking for a left footed right winger we had money ..but then were Kaka must leave first he did.Then well Robinho must go then we bid.By now Iturbe was gone so it was Cerci/Griezmam/Douglas Costa, Robinho leaves no bid OH WAIT MATRI NOCE then we bid they left aaaaand nothing.I mean nothing no one was bought at all.Then we sell Balotelli €20m more money nothing (Im aware there was no intention to buy in the first place) we had €20+m then shed Kaka Binho Matri Noce do nothing then sell Balo nothing.It wasnt until we sold Cristante we got Bonaventura.Im 100% certain the extra few million will mean nothing to our mercato.

On the second part yes we have a very good youth sector it seems , but we're crap at integrating them and developing them beyond 18/19/20 they either fade into obscurity or bounce around a few yeaes then become good (Darmian Astori ) but are no longer ours.The stadium ? Well I see that as a load horse shite they'll be talking about a sradium in 2025 unless someone comes in and gives them €400m to build it.I dont believe for a second under Berlusconi theyll break ground on a Stadium.
We still give out multuple yeae contracts to older players Torres Alex Lopez even Muntari at 30 got a multi year deal on a 100% pay increase.Rebewed Bonera Abiatti on 1 year deals but still.Essien a 2 year deal or was is 1 1/2

Okaka epitomises an average journeyman that is not even a 1 goal in 5 games forward let alone prolific.

Just different opinions I honestly believe nothing they say.Nothing.Im not , not believing for the sake of it , they have previous and never follow through on these plans theyve had the last few years.

After the way they have behaved in the last few years you have every right not to believe a word they say. To be honest, I am slowly moving that direction too.

I just think that if we make it to the CL this year, then we may make a couple of signings over the summer. I am not talking about Luis Suarez or Mesut Ozil type of signings that are in excess of 40/50 mil.....but more like signings around 15-20 mil or so.
If we do not make it into the CL...then it will be a continuation of the same.
Maybe this is more of a "hope" for me then anything else.

The only thing that I actually believe them on is the stadium. There is way too many reports getting out there about it and not just from Milan sources. I do think that there is something brewing on that front. Even Thohir has said that he is waiting to see what Milan does. He just came out and said that they will stay in San Siro if Milan goes. So there is definitely developments and there is definitely something going on.

Honestly, even if Milan sign a few top players and try to quick fix the present team. We might like the product but it wont fix the problems within Milan and it wont be long till Milan sell those players bc they need to balance the book.
If i am leading Milan, i would have say this and next year will be years where I am implementing a new system as well as training players. I will let these players to be expose and see how they deal with it. Then take it from there.

Seriously though, you are right too, doesn't automatically fix things but owning a stadium gives extra possibilities when it comes to finances

This new sponsorship deal is only 50% higher than the last one, which is about 7M per year. Normally, this could mean life changing money for a team with negative budgets all the time (imagine us signing Bonaventura while keeping Cristante), but who are we kidding thinking this money will actually be invested into the team? That horse ass stadium project has been talked about since 2003, and all these years later, we are still talking about it. That money is just going to disappear to fund some phantom projects (which basically means Berlusconi's hookers).

Fair point slifersd, but at this point any investment in the market is a positive step. We're also only talking about the Emirates deal, but it's worth noting other sponsors have also had deals secured of late. That said, all depends on who is bought. With all due respect, names like Vangioni, Kucka and Okaka leave me underwhelmed at best. On the other hand, names like Murru, Bertolacci, Baselli, Brozovic and Perin leave me more interested.

On the stadium, I think the fact that they're talking about it so clearly suggests something is happening, I'm guessing something is close, but nothing finalised. I want to say though the club haven't been talking about it since 2003, it's only been a couple of years before any sort of tangible comments have been made. Until that point, all the club did was moan about the San Siro, it's ownership and state.
