Well, another wish would be Carlo getting the gig at Roma and Milan give him Slowdorf as a gift.
After what I read about Gattuso, if that's really what he said, he is as good as gone. If so, good luck to him and thanks for everything.
I really think players should know when to leave and quit football. Like when u can n longer run and walk on the pitch all the time and when your home crowd boo you everything you touch the ball, you think those r good hints.

now that seedorf has renewed contract with us, he is no longer a free player. we may get some million euros out of him from roma. that's what I mean by positive thinking!

well, you know I am neutral towards seedorf. I wasn't shocked that he stayed - it does make sense considering that pirlo just left and it might be too big a change for a team that just won the champions. I was just simply hoping that the club will hold their ground by not giving in to Seedorf's unreasonable demand for "guarantee". From what I read, it seems ok and if it was true then I am happy.

Damn it!!! Seedorf s contract renewal really disappointing.I really hoped for Seedorf to leave more than Pirlo. But either ways i hope this will not hamper our desire to be competitive in the CL next. Coz we need atleast two WC mids (LCM and a CAM) n Seedorf s renewal is not a positive move. Cant see him walk around the pitch for another season.

the biggest problem to me is that now seedorf will hog the number 10 jersey and even if Ganso arrives, he will don no. 89 or 92, some huge number like that.

I remember when seedorf said that if ronaldinho came, he would happily give him his no. 10 jersey. when ronaldinho actually did arrive one or two seasons later, seedorf changed his mind. :/

That irritates me, too.

However, number 22 of Kaka is not bad, or number 21 of Pirlo.

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini could be inclined to sell Javier Pastore if the right offer comes along.

Pastore has been linked with a plethora of European clubs following another stellar campaign in Sicily, but the supremo has steadfastly maintained that his star playmaker would remain for at least one more season.

However, his stance has softened, with 'Zampa' now admitting there is a 50 per cent chance the attacker could leave the club this summer.

"There is a 50 per cent chance that he will remain and I hope that he doesn’t leave," he told Il Corriere dello Sport.

"It is no mystery that he is liked by Milan, Inter, Juventus, Manchester City, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Barcelona. It’s a siege," he added.

"Only one big club have come to me to make an enquiry for him, the others have contacted his agent.

"Who called me direct? It was one of Milan, Inter and Juventus."

"As far as I am concerned he is not on the market though. He has three years left to run on his deal and I am ready to renew that, but if someone offers me a lot of money…"

Should Pastore, who carries a reported €40 million price tag, pack his bags, Zamparini says he could see him in Catalunya.

Asked which team would suit 'El Flaco', Zampa said: "The Barcelona jersey, but let us leave him in peace for now. He has the Coppa Italia final coming up and then the Copa America."

You know what I noticed? Maybe its a plot for milan but we're probably going to end up keeping 1 senator for every position for example midfield i can see gattuso leaving but we kept ambro, nesta in the back, inzaghi upfront and seedorf CAM, maybe this is a good thing experience is sometimes vital in champions league games and theres no player like seedorf when it comes to CL, not this year though which worries me about resigning him.. what do you guys think about de rossi? we've been linked and are linked again, new president and all i think its a possibility, but he hasn't been himself the last couple of seasons some players need a new team to go back to themselves, new competition sort of thing.. he hasn't won much if anything with roma and has never made it far in the CL, has World cup experience, i wouldn't be against this move

De Rossi would be an awesome addition, I've always rated him. Actually I think he would fit perfectly with Allegri and our current system. He is solid defensively, has a good work rate and has a wicked shot. Actually more than seeing him as our LCM, I would more see him in the RCM spot instead of one of Gattuso/Flamini, since he can offer similar things in defense/workrate but is much more valuable moving forward. But I would expect he is very expensive, so I'm not sure how realistic this is also considering he is "capitan futuro" for Roma.


EDIT: Also he is older than I thought, will turn 28 this summer. Not such a great investment.

Yeah 28 wouldn't be a great investement but if we're to win the CL this year we should look into players that dont need any grooming or time to improve we need direct players.. Guys i'm also wondering the fact that we signed Taiwo.. Do you guys think he'll proove to be a good signing? Cause now coentrao and clichy are both available, clichy is available on the cheap as well and he's shown his class for the most part, i havent seen much of taiwo all i know is his left foot shooting ability is outstanding its a rocket
