Mario "why always me" balotelli

He was slow to press, his movement was inconsistent and his positioning at times suspect. He wasn't bad, he held up the ball a few times quite nicely and had the odd moments where he was happy to take on Atletico's players, but overall there's massive margins for improvement.

Yes, exactly. But the way he was playing the past three games was atrocious. Our entire team is playing badly since the beginning of the season but our best player should know he has the capacity to at least play like he did against Atletico. I was happy with what I saw. I genuinly think Seedorf can sort him out.

Fair enough. As I'm sure you know I reserve judgement until Seedorf's had more time with him.

Balo is again making headlines by playing ping pong and using social media (twitter) poorly. I understand Seedorf's point that the press are making mountains out of molehills, but I'm tired of this guy making headlines every week for something stupid, he brings it on himself with moronic decisions. The club, coach and staff itself needs calm to focus on the project in the club, rather than having to field scandals on Balo every week. Honestly, I don't remember any player, even Cassano, making headlines every week for stupid things. It's distracting and annoying. His reckless use of Twitter and not thinking through what he posts is really becoming tiresome.

What do you think about our coach defending him fiercely on this matter?

I don't understand the scandal ... Balotelli posted a picture of him playing ping pong on Twitter ? And ? What's the problem ? Huh
Maybe some of you post these kinds of pictures (playing some sports) on Facebook or elsewhere, and that doesn't create any scandal ? Your firm isn't upset ?

Geo I think it's to due with the fact that Balo was suffering from a shoulder injury and supposedly trying hard to recover fast. While in fact he was playing ping pong with that arm/shoulder (risking making it worst) and posting pictures of himself on Twitter doing that. Not smart, no matter how you look at it.

Ping pong is very demanding, even though you are only moving a few feet but the speed and hand movement makes it actually one of the better workouts around. On the face of it not something a shoulder injured person should be doing but I am not a doctor Big Grin

Guys, Ping Pong or Table Tennis is the sport I play ...
At some level, it becomes a physical sport (depending on your way to play). But at the level of guys like Balotelli who probably never played this sport before, anyway, are just bad, don't worry, his shoulder isn't at risk there !!
