silva is so underrated.. hes the best centreback in the world by a long shot. vidic has height to his advantage which is the only CB atm who i would put even close to silva. nesta is great too but age is somewhat taking its toll on him after next season i cant see him being the same to be honest hopefully he proves me wrong<3
I hope robinho steps up his game next season, he did good all season but i dont think to the fullest of his potential he has what it takes he just needs to work on his finishing

I really can't believe how great he is this season. How could he turn to be so great even he was rated high before he joins Milan but still his performance from one game to another game and finally this season was just wonderful. Did Maldini told him something when Silva could only train with Milan for about half year before he is eligible to play with Milan officially?

i read that Cagliari asks for half of Merkel for Lazzari's co-ownership...i hope we reject it...Merkel is the future, there is no need to sell his half...

if i remember correctly, Laudisa from Gazzetta said that we can have 2 non eu spots next season...also considering Taiwo can get a EU Passaport...i hope he gets it...We can have 2 non eu spots...

Many talks about Nainngolan as natural heir of Gattuso...if he leaves for Anzhi, i think its possible...just because of what they are offering to him. 20 m euros for 3 years is great money...10 m euros to us is great offer as well... He doesnt have many years at Milan...He can leave or retire next season...

i fear that we wont sell Flamini in the case some of our midfielders can leave... im with his sale, and getting rid of his high salaries. We can buy either inler or Nainngolan with the money we got from his sale...

i'd rather to have 2 world class 2 way midfielders instead having Ganso and Boateng as CAM and Pirlo, Seedorf, Ambrosini as midfielders...

Hernanes... Guarin...Hamsik...Asamoah... maybe we can sign both Fernando and Guarin from Porto... if we do, i'd be pleased...

i hope Abate improves on last touches, his shooting and crossing... if he does, his offensive contribution will be higher...

We needed mexes and taiwo to be honest, mainly mexes.. how many times have we been helpless at the back when silva is for whatever reason not there.. its almost games i cant even watch. mexes is a good choice to put there, he will be a level above papa,bonera etc even yepes as good as he has been..
I'd love to see Hernanes at milan next year, but we also need a defensive minded midfielder, we can fund that by selling Flamini.. He hasn't been as good as we expected but teams will still buy him, and pay his wages which I don't think he deserves as of recent. Hernanes+CDM+taiwo,mexes+CAM+VICE-ibra is what we need.. my idea would be:

Mexes,Taiwo,Astori,Hernanes,Naingolan,Ganso or Pastore, Berreta..

Messi and Cristano didn´t produce at NT, but you forgot that they already play for a BIG team, unlike Pastore. If Pastore was playing bad at Argentine but tearing up at Bayern Munich, I would be more relaxed of to pay huge money for him. But until today he´s playing( a few) great games at Palermo. You can´t compare his case with Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi...

Regarding the second bold part, can´t agree. It´s a totaly different world. In my opinion the type of pressure can´t be compared. It happened a lot in Brazil and I believe that around the world too. The amount of great prospects that explode here at middle/small clubs playing amazing football and when are purchased by big teams like São Paulo, Santos, Corinthians fail to show the same level, is huge!

Maybe is because I don´t rate Pastore as most here, but names like Suazo, Perea, Gila came to my mind...

So why are we to believe Ganso is a better bet at the same price? Pastore accomplished more in argentine clausura than Ganso did in league. He had a midling Hurcan team 1 point off the title as a 19 year old.

Not shining with Argentina is subjective too. He's shined more than Ganso who has barely played for Brazil and really only in friendlies v. usa etc. PAstore has really only been used as a sub because depth of argentina's attack is best in world (the rest of team... no, but attack yeT).

Eitherway he's lead Palermo, both good and bad. When he was good they were top 4, when off, they fell. His numbers speak for themselves, his play speaks for itself.

I wouldn't pay HUGE zamperini money for Pastore, buuut if it was him v. ganso for same price, i think it's a no brainer because Ganso's injuries are REALLY worrying and cause Pastore has done it in serie A

Ok, enough with the Argentine x Brazil thing. I got your point... Lamela is the next Maradona and Pastore is proven in Serie A. And they both are better than Ganso. You won.

Even Gourcuff, the best prospect for that position in France has declined.

So in France, there is no more player, except maybe Nené in Paris (but he's not French ahah), who showed some great things before joining Paris, and he has added some regularity this season. He is the reason why Paris has done a good season so far (and actually, Nené, during one month, just stopped playing well and Paris was unable to win games during that time, and once he started to produce some good football again, Paris started to win again). The problem is he is already 29 (30 this summer). So he is no more a "prospect".

Of course, about French players, a guy like Nasri could be interesting as he has improved in Arsenal, the problem is the guy has been turned into a side attacking midfielder (he plays on the right or the left with one striker in front of him, never in the center with two strikers in front of him as we want in Milan).

So, nothing really exciting for that position here (Mvila comes to my mind but he is a CM, so it doesn't answer to your question ) ...

Regarding Nasri, thats what worries me when I read a rumor of a Brazilian #10 linked with EPL teams. But to be fair, his improvment this season was amazing.

I don't care who we buy between Pastore or Ganso because they both look like they will be good enough to fill in our CAM spot, but we must MUST buy lamela, from what i've seen he'll surpass both by quite a long shot imo.
The smart thing to do since lamela is quite young would be to get kaka loaned to us for a season and let lamela play average seria a games while kaka is a good temporary replacement.

well, call me stupid or stubborn or superstitious, but I don't remember any Argentina players succeed in Milan (the closest one was Crespo who spent only one season but unfortunately didn't win anything), on the other hand, we have had many failures ranging from Ayala, Chamot, Redondo, Grimi, Coloccini; as for Guly, he was hardly a success despiting winning one Scudetto.

I certainly am not biased against any specific country, but I am a true believer of "culture". Football players are humans first. I think it is important that players are able to feel the culture and live the culture, and gel in and become part of the culture, before they can start thinking about settling down and playing football, and winning trophies.

In Milan's history, Brazil/Sweden/Netherlands seem to have flourished; while Spain/Argentine/France have withered. I don't see any need to change that healthy Brazil/Italy mix. I really don't know how good all these fellows are - Lamela or Pastore or Ganso - I have watched them play (some a lot more; some less), it is just that I have no professional expertise to judge how truly good players they each are. But I know my choice(s), as irrational as they may be.

2. Real does not need him as they already signed Sahin and have Ozeil
3. He really has no where to go, since he won't go to ManCity.
4. He wants to be back in Milan.

He will be back, just hope he is back to his true self.

I know he is not a 21 yrs old hotshot like Pastore, Ganso, Lamela and Lucas but he is Kaka and from the last few games he played he is getting back to his old self. On top of that, he play suits the current Milan, as he does not hold onto the ball all the time, make quick decisions.....Most importantly, as long as he is healthy, he will help Milan. Don't worry about not signings those hotshots, as it seems like every year there will be a few of them pops up.
