Pato had so much more love (from the fans) than Dida, but Dida achieved so much more than Pato.

thats because he had a better team around him. dida is like the worst goalkeeper in history of football.
abbiatti's blunders x 10.

Thats his last season with Milan. He was one of our main players in 2003-2007. I thin to this day Dida has the record for longest period without conceding in CL. (2005)
Also the 2003 final. He did save everyone`s ass in that final.
No ho visto Superman volare, ma ho visto Super Pippo segnare. I supereroi esistono davvero.
still dida isnt that bad
without him we wouldnt win ucl vs juventus in the final or am i wrong??
Leeds was 2001 (or 2000?), and he was loaned back to Brazilian. When he came back, he proved himself again. Until 2005, he was among the top 3 goalkeepers in the world. The firework incident hurt him psychologically, but still he was way better than Abbiati. Had he played instead of Kalac, we would not have been eliminated by Arsenal in 2008.
There is simply no goalkeeper that has never made a howler once in a while, but to claim that Dida was the worst in the history of football and deny his enormous contributions to Milan are laughable. Mind you that unlike Juventus, Milan history isn't known to have great goalkeepers (Buffon and Cudicini came to mind, but those were long time ago), and I would even go as far as claiming that Dida is perhaps one of the best goalkeepers in Milan history.
