I am surprised that his release clause was that low too. He's really grown into a great player, although still only 20 and it's always risky spitting out close to 40mil on a 20 year old.

In any case, I am surprised that he is going to Borussia's direct rivals in Germany. That's unreal. It seems like in Germany, ANY player is willing to play for Bayern. It seems like the pinnacle of their career is to play for Bayern.

Clearly, the Bundesliga is a one-horse race now. The new Scotland, as Dortmund directors have called it. Bayern is already beating teams 5-0,6-1, 9-2 in that league.....regularly. It's almost a surprise when they don't score 3-4 goals in a game. What should we expect next season?

In any case, about Bayern line-up, someone will leave, that's for sure. I think it might be Robben at this point as he's lost his starting spot even this year without Gotse there. I just don't see how they'll keep Ribery, Miller, Robben, Kroos AND their 37mil investment Gotse all happy. Robben is not the character that will quietly sit on the bench so that's why my guess is him leaving.

But whatever, I'm not worried about that. I don't think we are THAT far off. About 3 players at this point. A CB, creative CM and a natural winger.

Yup!!...announcing this a day before Dortmund's CL semi-final game is absolutely dirty.

Robben is announced in Galatasaray (rumours) ... If that happens, that will mean Galatasaray tries to build a real team for CL with Drogba and Sneijder already there, without forgetting Muslera (good GK) and Altintop for example.

Anyway, Guardiola won't have too much work with that team, even if it seems Heynckes is perfect for them and knows how to motivate his players. Not sure Guardiola will do it as well as Heynckes, which would be funny (let's imagine Bayern wins CL this season, what I don't hope, as it would be funnier to see Dortmund win it with a goal of Gotze in final, but anyway, if Bayern wins, and next season, doesn't manage to win again with some more players, like Gotze or some CD, then Guardiola will be criticized as never).

True. That leaves a very bad taste in the mouth. I hope that Dortmund can shake it off and reach the final.

Lewandowski might go to Bayern too. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the current Bayern players become available for very cheap. Robben and Kroos for example.

They wont sell Kroos, he's one of the better midfielders in europe. Robben will be sold, he's not so much a teamplayer, so I dont think guardiola really likes him.

May be not but it's only April and they are adding two starting quality offensive players. Maybe Pizarro will leave too, but he is already a bench player.

It not impossible that Italy falls behind Portugal before Serie A wakes up.
