I was referring to their similar record of recurring injuries. The other names you mentioned were relatively fit during their respective careers in Milan.
Basically Pato must start from scratch now to prove himself. Thiago Silva's first European experience didn't go well either due to health problem, but he picked himself up in Brasil before returning to the Old Continent and since then he never looks back. Or Pato could be another Nilmar who never really lives up to his potential because of his injuries.

I am not terribly concerned with Pato's "injury"; and at the risk of being unfair to him (not that I care anyway, as he is not a Milan player - I just want to be sensitive to our fellow MM members who still love him and support him), I sometimes think that his "injury" is more of a mental issue. I was worried that Pato was on the track to become another Sebastian Deisler. A fresh start will set him free and maybe he will finally get the second chance to redeem himself.
I still remember when Leonardo took Kaka to UEFA to receive the Golden Ball, he said: "I will take Pato here in some years". I truly believed that.
Bye bye Pato. Good luck for the WC.
I'll miss him!! I really like Pato and I hope to see him back in our shirt , injury free offcourse.
But I think this is best for everyone right now... Lets hope he can find his form again in Brazil and stay fit.
Best of luck Alexandre!
15m could have been 27m (+10m bonuses) which we could have gotten Tevez with....
but nope. we let the spoiled brat shag the presidents daughter, walk straight into the starting lineup, make astonishing comments about the coach, threatens to leave the club if he's not played more, and also forces his way out claiming he would go for free otherwise.....
how can anyone like this kid.... he is not the same person who we signed when he was 17. not the same player, nor person.
so glad he's gone, never want to see him back, even if he stays injury free and returns to form. good riddance.

Well, it's you, commenting about Pato, so forgive me if it is taken with a pinch of salt anyway
