If a useless player like van Persi can score 30+ goals after injury crises, then Pato can score 50. He just needs time. & don't forget that without Pato's goal against Malaga, AC Milan won't have make it to the knockout stage of UCL this season.

& Please stop crying about this Tevez-Pato swap. Tevez is the only Argentine player that doesn't deserve to be a footballer. Pato doesn't need to score against small Serie-A clubs. He does it against the Barcelona, Madrid and Inters of this world. So please support the most gifted player of AC Milan since Kaka.

I always was a Pato supporter, he is/was one of my favourite Milan players untill some time ago, but I've really, really had it with al his injuries, this guy is only available for 5-10 games a season.

That would be awful. Paloschi won't replace Pato at all. Paloschi is a good player but let's not get ahead of ourselves, he'd be nice to have on the bench and even if Pato is injured 3/4 of the season 5 games Pato plays he'd probably have a bigger impact then Paloschi playing 10-15

Seriously, while I don't like RVP, he always scored, even after injuries, while Pato, after an injury, needs 2 months before scoring again, and that's when he doesn't get injured again before ...

Pato should have been kicked out 2 years ago, Milan's biggest mistake was not going for the Tevez-Pato deal. If Tevez came in at that time, things would have been so different today.

What mistake did we make with Pato exactly? When we brought him he was phenomenal, so much so that he was comparable to guys like Ronaldo (the Brazilian) and Messi at the same age. No one could have predicted things would become the way they were.

Also, calling people "dumb" because they supported him during this time is just stupid. We've seen what he's capable of and his potential, it's totally understandable that people are hesitant to just let him go (it's clear there's even internal conflict regarding him in our management).

Yes, but then we'll have to pay 15 million or more to buy his other half, if he performs in Brazil his price will rise. And I also think co-ownership deals can be made only between Italian clubs like Geotav mentioned.

how is that awful? Pato almost never plays, and when he plays he usually sucks bigtime becouse he lacks matchrhythm, and after a few bad games he is injured again. And I'm afraid we dont have the money for a great defender and a great attacker. So with Pato's sale we could fund a more than decent young striker and a good defender.
The case would become different when we can also sell Robinho for 10-15m to santos, maybe we could buy us a good defender and a good attacker, but mind you that players like balotelli and lewandowski arent available for little money, it is very, very hard to find a great striker for cheap, almost impossible;

Pato was not a mistake... Bringing him to Milan was an excellent move... Even if he had to wait until he turned 18 to play... And he was great in the beginning... At least promising... Then you have to deal with his injuries as they come...

I think this has been managed well... Only dislike that his personal life has affected his professional development (married too young, got a divorce, and started dating his "boss")

I read that he has contract until 2014 and if I am not mistaken, that was also the case with Oezil, the Turkish DM from Dortmund to Madrid (forget his name) and Kagawa. Not that the price will very cheap but it should be reasonable even for Milan. Maybe others can mention how much Oezil, the Turkish DM and Kagawa costed?
