Yes. I don't think pato is unmotivated but it may seem like that because of what i said in the previous page, hes scared/worried about being injured again so he doesn't want to give his 100% right away until he stabilizes.
But, when it comes to pato i have a special acceptance for him for a few reasons..
he's been with us now for 5-6 years.
he wants to give everything for milan so it doesn't seem like he's leaving.
when he first came to milan i thought he was heir to ronaldo (the brazilian)
its not like he isn't performing, hes been injured.
when he has played before this last season he scores in pretty much every game he plays, with the acception of these last couple of games
and finally if he does get back on form and doesn't get injured he's really the only player along with SES who can guarentee to make a difference for us this year. Boateng and Bojan are possibilities, if bojan gets more playing time and continues like he did against palermo he'll proove very useful, and if boateng finds his feet from last year he'll be equally as useful, but at the same time won't win us games on their own. Ses and pato however can in a way, as long as els keeps scoring and pato starts scoring like he used to we won't have that issue anymore, cus in reality we haven't been conceding a lot.
On top of all that, Montolivo deserves mention as well, but the forwards and the players he's creating for need to start clicking to appreciate him more.
I wonder what's behind today's decision not to play Pato at all. To save him for Malaga? Or Allegri decided again that he is not ready? Either way, it is a little bit disappointing for Pato and his fans.
But I am sure Pato is happy that we won today and things seem to go back to the right track.
Yeah, I was hoping to see pato play today.. I'm sure he would've scored a goal or two, even pazzini scored and he did close to nothing all game pato would've been more involved..
I'm not going to lie, when chievo tied 3 minutes after we scored I wouldn't have thought this game would end 5-1
Pato probably didn't play because he played the last two. We don't want risks by playing him every 3 days
Congratz Alexandre with your goal vs Malaga!!
I hope this gives him some confidence, a fit and in form pato would be brilliant together with El Shaarawy and Bojan. Please stay fit!!
I read that too, so the decision to take Shaarawy off at the hour mark was probably a good decision; after all, the Serie A game could potentially be more important than the CL game, in a way.
Pato however should remain fresh and sharp, and hopefully hungry too for his favorite opponent.
