If he adapts like Pirlo did under Ancelotti, then it's perfectly fine.

yeah he's still much more of a tequartista. Think Rui-esque, with a good eye for goal
It would've been great to have signed ozil.. but then again by berlusconis standards hes way to ugly to play for us lmao

Recently, i saw some games of him...i also watched his youtube videos...just tube it, Zouzinho5 posted 10mins of him vs Gremio and USA...
His shoots are good, remind me of Rivaldo's but i think that he should work on them...He should try it more...
However he is not a match winner... He is a great playmaker... But Do we really need him? How Milan will play with him?
Ganso, Pato and ibra... Ganso makes the organization well, but He is not a Pastore in attacks, who can share their responsbility...Ganso looked a bit slow to me... Really heavy...He looked like Rivaldo to me on this aspect... His playing stile reminds me of Alex(Fenerbahce)... Rui Costa with Fio was amazing...But he failed with us...
Ganso's style works perfectly with Santos, as they always play with many offensive players... Robinho was with them, Neymar, Andre, Marq..., Wesley, Arouca e.t.c. Werder Bremen stylee with Oezil and Diego... What can he do with 2 man attacking player? He plays with more than it... Pato, Neymar, Robinho, Ramires, Hernanes... But with ibra and Pato, this stylee can occur problems... because of this reason, i want Pastore...a match winner than a playmaker...
Always 3 match winner is better than two's...Hope you got what i want to mean...
Rui only disappointed with milan cause he was OLD. If Milan got rui in his prime he would have been amazing. Even then, Rui was good for milan, just not 35 mil good. That's what you get paying huge fees for 29/30 year olds attackers. They tend to decline quickly (Ibra?!)
How is a playmaker with his passing not a match winner? That's kind of a dumb think to say.
Btw for a bad shooter, he scored 11 in 33 games last year, and same amount the year before.
He's not gonna dribble his way thru with pace like pastore or kaka, but he can CONTROL a game.
Like I said above, it's not about formation, it's about movement. IF we play 4-3-1-2 with ibra/pato uptop and pirlo, gattuso, van bommel.. He will fail. No runs from uptop, no width. However if we play a 4-3-1-2, with robinho, Pato, and Boateng in midfield, it's fine. Boateng at RCM does work rate of a RW, often comes up and provides width and runs. Robinho naturally drops to left and is ALWAYS moving (and Cassano similar, though Cassano doesn't drop as deep, but is a bit mor decisive. Certainly not lazy when fit). Pato at lead is just a pain for defenders cause he moves a lot side to side and has killer pace.
Besides if you guys haven't figured out Allegri's 4-3-1-2 is anything but static. The two side mids (mezz'ala or half winger as he calls them) make a lot of forward and diagonal runs. If you notice, everyone of our mids have succeeded in this role to some degree. Flamini, Boateng, Pirlo looked reborn because he could push up and had spacing to kill w/ his passses, Seedorf looks reborn too, Even Gattuso has had best year attack wise i've seen.
The way I see it. If Ganso comes we are less incline for a super technical CM. More someone line Thiago Motta at Inter, someone who has good technique, can pass but is tireless. Someone line Montolivo in all honesty. His positioning defensively is great, when he pushes up he's effective and can tackle.
If we got a Pastore type CAM we need a true Pirlo type in midfield to control posession. Pastore doesn't do that. Just like Kaka doesn't. Someone like Hernanes or Modric
We need midfielders who can make runs to box, who can finish Ganso's passes...who can join the attacks with ibra, Pato...Flamini lacks last touch..Pirlo is slow...
Assists or passes doesnt mean anything if you dont have a finisher...i mean match winner is...What counts Ganso passes perfectly if Robinho misses 8-9 chances out of 10...
The CM who works tirelessly, makes a lot of forward and also diagonal runs...Merkel does it all in a game, i event couldnt count howmany times he does it...He has great movement to the box...
in my view of game, i'd play three 2 way midfielders in midfield trio...Who can tackle, run tireless, move up with the ball, drive with the ball, who can press...
Flamini, Van Bommel, Gattuso vs Hernanes, Ramires, Jucilei... i'd go for second one...
Honestly, Ganso didnt convince me... it would be better if we can sign Hernanes+Pastore...also considering we need a 2 way midfielder in midfield trio to add more quality to midfield...
Our midfielders couldnt do much under press and at high tempo of CL? Pirlo failed, Seedorf failed, Flamini failed...This is why we should add quality to midfield if we want a quarter final at least...
Zamparini asks for 50 m euros, at least he tells it to reporters. But it doesnt mean we will sign him at that cost...Ganso costs as much as him...More or less. he costs around 30 m euros at least...He got a long term injury...
all these transfer rumors are getting me to excited like two years ago were talking huntelaar onyewu and borielo now its ronaldo,robben,bale,pastore,ganso,hernanes.. id be happy with just one of those signings so im really looking forward to the next mercato
abbeey obviously hasn't seen full games of Ganso if he think he is not a game winner... actually for that matter then - Zidane is not a match winner, all he did was distribute the play...correct?
I am very much for bringing Ganso as I think he is a phenomenon. I am would like him to be a trequartista but I think he could be a #5 just like Zidane that could also be a #10. Having Ganso as #5 can open up a trequartista position for Lucas Marcelinho or Pastore which would be amazing. At the start of the season Pastore was playing incredible, then by mid-season he faded into thin air and is playing really bad. If he is not able to shine in a shit team such as Palermo....who knows if he'd be able to do better at Milan.
In recent days we've been linked with: Hernanes, Ganso, Cristiano, Pastore, Lamela and before that with Lucas Marcelinho and Erikssen. Feels good to be named with all these players I just hope we dont end up signing someone like Urby and Vila. From those names looks like we will be getting Ganso - I sure hope that we sign some other phenomenon with him (my favorite by far is Lucas, his style is sooooo neat and sexy - kinda like Messi).
