Adios zlatan! fantastic player but I never was a fan of him at Milan, I just dont like his attitude! But I will watch him at Paris-SG, I was already watching PSG last season and this season it will be even more interesting.
i know this is very late, and may even have been discussed somewhere already, i know zlatan getting is old, but doesnt anyone think we could have made a little bit more than 20 million for him, like 28 mil @least, he was arguably our best player.
In all honesty, for a player over 30 (almost 31) I think we got a good deal, especially in the current times. The only teams that would have paid what PSG did was Man City, who didn't really spend crazily this summer or Chelsea, who already have 50m Torres to deal with. Bear in mind Zlatan and Raiola don't make it easy for their clubs if they're intent on moving (like when we got him from Barca).
@ payne: you made a good point: Ibrahimovic was indeed with no doubt our best player, and he should probably be priceless for us; however, his age is there and you can't realistic expect to sell him for a better price. just like Puyol for Barcelona, I doubt that he could go for anything more than 5M. not that he is not useful, but market price is a crazy thing. and the fact that Ibrahimovic made it clear that he wanted the move simply made it impossible for us to get more money. So I agree with Dev. I think our intent is also clear that the club wished to get rid of him to save salary, so 20M was already a good deal. It would be good to still have him, but he would be a luxury to have now, with Berlusconi unwilling to spend.
I don't see Zlatan coming anytime soon.
