Well I still have to approve changes (something like that
)Xudong's is a good idea, whenever a username is changed it is required to put old one in custom user title - right under current one. It is in the custom user title section of http://milanmania.com/forum/usercp.php?action=profile

Thanks, Reza. I just changed that. it is strange that I clicked on almost every clickable link except for that "edit profile" (though it was a parent directory so didn't click on it), and just couldn't get to that page.
