In his defense, I believe that he wanted to stay in Milan longer and was forced out. I heard that he just sold his mansion in Sweden and bought a new house at Milano just weeks ago.

I won't miss him terribly, but I feel that he wrote his part of history with Milan and was an important player, despite no way legendary.

It would be the ultimate trolling on him if Milan won the UCL, but of course that's not possible at this point.

Most likely so. All ex-players (except for Pirlo) had only good things to say about Milan. I guess Milan is special after all.
