. Something's definitely wrong here.
You cant blame Milan Lab or anybody for the injury of Merkel ... It's just a lack of chance for him.

I can't even remember how Merkel got injured or if he was injured at all in Genoa lol. Might have been a bad example but just the sheer number of injuries we've been having should be an indicator that something's wrong.
Siamo a posto cosi.
Why not loan Pato for half a year to another serie A club, if he can stay fit there...
not a chance that will happen but I 'd like to see it.

I am serious. This situation is getting so damn annoying. To think that we would have a decent chance to go all the way to CL final, had we had an injury-free squad.

Geo, what do you mean by that?
by the way, Mystik, are you sure that Merkel was not out for injury at all in his first half season at Genoa? Somehow I thought he was. I do agree with you on your comments though.
I mean that the way he got his injury can't be because of Milan Lab ...

I think all fans of every club think that the club's medical staff are useless. I think injuries just seem to be such a part of modern sport. I still believe Pato will come good.

About Pato, there's definitely something wrong somewhere, but I think we're not able, us, as fans, to say it's because of Milan Lab or other ...
Maybe Pato doesn't sleep a lot (for any reason) ? That can cause injuries ...
Maybe Pato doesn't train well ?
But actually, I may ask something : and if, I say a big if, and if Pato was just someone very fragile ?
Who knows ? He maybe had a problem somewhere that never got cured, and now, it causes all these injuries, it could just be too late, or it could solve itself someday without special treatment ...

I read that John Terry broke two ribs and could barely breathe, but still declared himself fit to play for Chelsea. Then we had Thiago Silva who insisted playing on despite being injured. There was also Gattuso who refused to step off even though he saw two (or is it four) images of every player around him. George Weah broke his hand and played the entire game despite the excruciating pain. The list can probably go on and on.
I am not saying that Pato should have kept on playing like all the above mentioned players, but every time I saw that he was injured, I can't help but recalling that someone said that his injury might be more psychological than physical. If only I knew that really meant!
I think Pato's leg injuries stem from the weight increase on his smallish body frame. If you look at him from when we got him and now, hes a much more muscular. I'm sure Milan lab and trainers opinion was for Pato to put weight on to deal with the Serie A grueling schedule and type of play.
If they are going to rehabilitate him, first and foremost break him down physically and rebuild him. That means to lose the muscle and adopt a new training regiment.
