Pato

Pirlo could of sold the year before for some $$$ but nooooooo we let him go for FREE.... Any player that loves this team will take a pay cut when they are older if they want to remain if not cyaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

What was the highest rumored price teams were willing to spend on Pato?

Waiting is my illogical soft spot for a Milan player, I concede it.

And there is something to reconsider:
- Pato's price now is even less than the amount we paid for Intenacional.
- He has the drive to play, he is just too scared of being injuried again. He should learn from his captain, Ambrosini, who became a world class DM after being injury-prone for 7 years (2000-2006).
- The transfer can only start in 4 months, many things can happen. We should and must wait.

Doesn't affect his market value.

We sold Sheva and Kaka who were starting to get plagued by inuries for record fees.
Torres with the same problems was sold for 50 millions?

While ManShitty were asking 25 mil for a player that hasn't played for half a year and had attitude problems.

Besides that, PATO IS 22!!! His entire footballing career is ahead of him, all he needs is medical staff that can figure out his injury problems. And everyone knows the talent is there. He showed it as recently as in the Barca game.

If we can't get 35+ millions for him, I'd rather keep him.
"Defending is part of football... Keep possession 95% if u want... but the score is 2-2... thats it!! Well done milan.. Make serie a proud once again.. Big Grin"

do you really believe that? offcourse it affects his market value. Not only is he a risk signing becouse of all his injuries, but his performances have also been absolutely terrible this season, wich is also partly becouse of his many injuries.

I really like Pato but its time to sell him! There are many good strikers out there available at the moment.
Robin v Persie
Balotelli
Tevez
G.Rossi
Giroud

Or even better a midfielder:
Jovetic (!)
Hernanes
Ganso
Lucas
Eriksen

From now on when Pato plays and needs to be subbed, we need someone to go and get him and carry him off the pitch.

These extra few steps are the cause of injuries.

Here is a quick little story.

The car in my avi is a 94 it now has 215,000 miles on it. I bought it used and restored the seats and the inner lining on the roof etc. We will call it Pato. Pato was a beast before then a small injury we will call it a radiator leak happpened. No big deal, then the major injury happened the tranny. Well i spent this much money on Pato so I cant let it go just for this injury so I spent more money. Then 2 months after this injury the radiator completely broke and I spent more because i was commited to Pato, I would never get the money back that I spent on him.

The longer we keep Pato the more it'll cost Milan.

I know you guys' points. Pato is now a bad investment. And I don't think there are any teams would pay more than 20M for him. The idiots Madrid, City, Chelsea and even PSG learned the lesson.

I just want to think optimistically (maybe just hope ^^), because there is no other way.

Seconded. And did mzk57 deliberately left Michael Owen off that list?

They are sending him to some special clinic in USA. Galliani said "he'll heal, he has to heal".

He's not been a small investment, so I guess that's the explanation of Galliani's comment.
