I see us finishing outside the CL again. Inter has strengthened their back line, Juve has a full season with Spaletti, Fiorentina has had a great transfer market, Como has improved their squad, and Roma has made a couple good signings as well. Gerry has promised Amorim the world and has only given him 2 signings when we don’t have the players (aside from a few) who can play his system. I know Ruben needed to evaluate the team and that took too long but the fact remains that he asked for certain players for other positions and never got them yet. He probably could see that Gerry wasn’t going to spend any more so he needed to see what he has to work with.

And again, it is ridiculous that they didn't agreed to those stuff before signing contract. How much (and which) players do he need, how much money will be available etc.

Honestly if the management is behind this coach then they need to invest in players he wants, if they are concerned of their star players not being on board , they should of had a meeting with them in the room to talk clearly.

Lower half of Portugese teams are piss poor, he is still good enough to score 10 goals at least against those.

Leao, Nkunku and Fofana, should give us at least 80 million euros.

First in my book should be Maxi Araujo from Sporting. A perfect match for that 3-4-2-1, and Amorim ball. Quality player so we probably need 30 million euros, but he will upgrade our team greatly. Neither Bartesaghi or Estupinan are good enough in this system to be honest. Araujo is better both ways.

The other two must be a CB and a ACM. Gila- Gabbia- Pavlovic is pretty solid, but with Tomori sold, we will have troubles with the depth. Today showed that we in now way can rely on Terraciano.
