Motta has literally purged many of Juve players even those who were decent and good and replced them with better players. Ofc management played a bigger role in this. Missing out on Motta was probably biggest mistake.

Could be, but if Motta came here, I doubt our management would be so eager to meet all his demands. Because it costs money and we are cheap. So, it is big question what could he do with limited team we have.
Also, he as well coached just two games at Juventus, so let's give him some time... Season is still young, he might fail miserably...

Juve showed what a team with real ambitions should and would look like. They purged large chunks of the roster and replaced them with players they actually like/need. Spent huge amounts of money on players they deemed good fit, and got the best coaching candidate out there. Meanwhile, our smart ass front office is probably crunching their algorithms right now trying to find the next Serie B coach who can make it big. Pathetic planning and execution. And Ibra should absolutely stay quiet going forward and talk like he is an executive. It's all fun and games to act like you are Aries as a player, quite annoying when you act like that when you are a novice executive doing a poor job

I don't mind signings like Vos, as long as they don't stop us from signing players who are ready to contribute. Young players are like lottery tickets, you have to scatch enough of them to get a hit. But if we bank our hopes on them, and not sign actual players that are ready to contribute, then we are doing this all wrong

Man this season is really calling Leao into question. We can’t press or defend as a team with him. At some point management needs to consider if his offensive contributions outweigh our defensive fragility.

Im not sure there is a single signing that will work if we play the way we are as a team aside from older players who is till a more professional attitude.

Totally agree. I said it when Fonseca was hired, Leao should be sold in this window. 1: He dont fit into Fonseca possesion tactics. 2: He is a liability for the whole team in defence as you say. What we could have done with a cash injcection of 100-120 million euros for him..

So Manu Kone and Vos seem like they're done deals this week. Both super talented young players, but what confuses me is why more midfielders?? I understand we're offloading Adli on loan with option but are we really relying on Jovic Morata as our strikers? WTF is wrong with management can't they see how thin we are on our striker at the moment?

Even if we do end up landing Chiesa, it doesn't solve a lot of our problems. Looks unlikely anyhow as apparently he's on his way to Liverpool for under 20m euros.

Wouldn't speak to soon on Juve. We're two games in and they faced Como and Verona. I know we fumbled just as bad against Parma but I mean anything can happen at the moment. After 10 games will be a lot easier to judge.

If there were clubs interested in paying those amounts for Leao he would have been gone already. 90% of the time he looks like a €10-20m player.
